Hacking Will injecting a new LocalFriendCodeSeed change my friend code?

I want to try unbanning myself by injecting LocalFriendCodeSeed. If I get the LocalFriendCodeSeed file from a friend's 3ds with CFW, would we end up having the same friend code afterward? Would this cause issues if we both want to go online?

Alternatively, I could just get it from my other 3ds, but that one doesn't have CFW and is on 11.1, so I only have access to Homebrew. Is there any way to get that 3ds's LocalFriendCodeSeed on that firmware?

You could both get perm banned being online with the same FC as thats a red flag on ninty servers.

Sadly not unless it was downgraded etc

I can't confirm as I haven't done it myself

No, it doesn't change your friend code

You can manually change your friendcode if you feel the need (I did, just to be "safe") by following Apache Thunder's guide a bit down the page in this thread

just a quick question tho. say if you are friend code banned, but you back up your sysnand (if u have cfw ofc), reset your console, get the new friend code seed from the reformatted NAND, inject your backed up sysnand and copy the new friend code seed into the old NAND, would that work as well? I'm not banned but I was just curious to ask
