It seems like my nail has stopped growing. I don’t have to clip the nail as much now. I think it may actually fall off soon. I kind of can’t wait, because I’m tired of looking at it. At the cuticle, it’s not flat like it usually is. It’s a bit bowed.

Wow. What a slow process. This thing isn’t getting infected, but it’s looking pretty strange. I can see where the new nail is coming out, but the old nail is still attached. I think the doc was right about the six month mark.

Ugh, I forgot about this situation... for some weeks until now.

This thing doesn’t look like it’s going to come off. It feels pretty strong still. I see the new nail growing and pushing the discolored portion out. I keep clipping it off. Looks fucking weird though, seeing the dried blood under the nail coming forward with the nail as it grows. Again, I won’t show you a picture of it as it could be disturbing.
