Hacking Will I brick my Wii?

Hello all.
I have a Wii with 4.1u and it's softmodded. I have HBC installed, and some IOS's. I have neogamma R8 b7 and I'm happy with it.
But I decided to Virginize my Wii. I have my own reasons...

So my idea is that I just do a Nintendo update to 4.3u.
Please warn me if I'm gonna brick my Wii or something.
I just wanna stop piracy, cheating and all that.
I want a clean Wii, so I hope updating naturally to 4.3u will do.

If you removed all the custom stuff then you should be fine

Why do you wanna re-virginize your wii if you dont mind me asking

all I see if benefits with this stuff, like before you couldnt do anything just play wii dvd games and channels of the shop channel, now you can watch movies and music off pendrives, dvds, smb servers, etc and you can put backups of your games on usb drives and this is just the beginning

What do you mean "Custom Stuff" ?
I have many many reasons.
Let me just say I first modded my Wii when I was really REALLY young.
Used twilight hack on 3.2 FW and installed a bunch of stuff.
I just don't like the idea of messing with the Wii.
I just want a natural and clean Wii as shown in shops.
Idk it just doesn't feel right.

Other than that, I have more reasons.

That said, there is no way to bring the wii back to perfect clean state, there will always be some traces left.

i have an idea, your "mod-able wii" is very much a "wanted item" lately, cause new wii will come with a non drive chip dvd-drive, why don't you sell your wii for like us$150 - us$200, probably people still looking for it... and you buy a new wii that u can play without any modification... plus, your new wii will still have it's brand new warranty...

it's not that new wii can't be modded, new wii without drive chip dvd drive is still mod-able, but cannot play any backups via the dvd drive... so probably people with lots of backups in the form of dvdr will love to buy your wii...

just my 2 cents...

I don't wanna go through the complication of backing up my saves and preparing my Wii for sale, and then actually find someone to buy it

What I wanted is to FULLY virginize my Wii not sell it.
Now, back to the subject, is there anyway to remove HBC and IOS250 manually?

be sure u only remove the right things, it is a app that can brick you're wii when abused/mis-used

Thanks for the advice.

Now I have an idea my self. Please tell me if something is wrong with it

So I can use cIOS Uninstaller v1.1 to uninstall all the cIOS. Then I can use AnyTitleDeleter (as D3M0N23 mentioned) to remove neogamma.
After that I'll try to use the hackmii installer to remove HBC and anything else unneeded and uninstallable.
And as a final move, I can then just simply update to 4.3u ... Right?
PLEASE warn me if this is dangerous or wrong to do.

I wouldn't say it's dangerous but it won't get rid of everything. As mentioned before there will still be traces left, nothing that should get in your way though.

If just little traces that take up like a KB then I don't mind.
But I won't begin the process until more people confirm it's safe.
It's not that I don't believe you, it's that I won't really risk my Wii just to virginize it

AFAIK, Nintendo can still see if you've modded your Wii regardless of whether you've "virginized" (Fuck, I hate that word. -_-) your Wii or not.

i hate it too, it was made up by some virgin for sure. SOunds like th OP needs a morality car wash. Plus youve got somoebody who obviously knows nothing about wii hacking telling us hes not gonna do what we tell him untill ppl confirm it, while most ppl reading this thread are feeling like their heads going to explode, and wont reply anyway. not even sure why Im replying.
