Gaming Will Dirt 2 work with a pentium 4 3.2GHz cpu?

While thats a very outdated CPU, it really depends on your RAM and your video card, as well as what quality you set the game to

I have checked the requirements on steam and i will run it at any setting i have to. Everything will work but i'm unsure about the cpu because it says i need a pentium D 3.0GHz or amd athlon 64 x2.
Will my cpu play it?

Ps: I know I really should upgrade but currently i am saving up for a PS3 and i will probably just play Dirt 2 on that.

No. Doesn't look like it will. Whenever i open the demo in steam it shows the "opening Dirt 2 demo" window and then closes and steam switches to the store tab and shows the Dirt 2 page.

This laptop has an AMD Athlon X2 64 and an NVidia mobile card. The card ain't great, but it is pixel 3 so I believe and should run Dirt 2 at a moderate level. However, when I had Steam on here earlier this year I downloaded the demo and it did exactly the same thing as yours did, so the demo is probably borked.
