You're better off getting four 8GB microSD's, but whatever. It'll work.

Why would I be better off? I have an 8gb atm.

Edit: price, amiright? I have a ton of eBay bucks, or I'd order from a china shop or something. I also don't want to risk a fake one.

One of the main reasons for a flashcart is storing all the games in one place, if I split that up into four tiny little chips, it kind of eliminates the purpose.

I cant really see why you would need that big a micro sd, I mean I struggle to find 8gb of decent games let alone 32gb. I admit you need more space for movies and whatnot but to be honest it's overkill

I have a huge collection of GBA/NES roms I'll be dropping on there. I've almost filled up my 8 gigs with just DS games, and I haven't even dropped any of my old roms on there.

Thanks all. I know I said I'd be ordering from eBay, but I'd like to check out other places. Does anyone know of any cheaper places? Even from China?

Thanks again.

QUOTE(fishykipper @ Oct 24 2010, 12:57 PM) yeah it'll work just fine.
but if you fill it to the max (32gb, of games and data), i reckon it'll be hella slow!!
32gb is a lot of data to scroll though and read from.

Might be slow to load the menu, but will it affect the speed of the games/roms, do ya think?

Please just stop the how's and why's, he's just asking a question.
Yes, it will work, like other have said. It might get slow if you fill it to the max, though, like fishyskipper said.

don't listen to them...a 32gb is awesome
and yes it'll work, I'm gettin ready to get me one too
I rather have all my games/contents on one cart
I have 2 16gb, one filled with kids movies and games, and the other is filled with RPG, SNES, GBA GBC sega genesis, and other games not suited for kids, so yeah, if you got the $$ to get it, than get it because it'll work

You should also check amazon, they have some 32GB card at around $90

Just as the FAQ said, it will work. But that's overkill

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar

@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
