thanks for doing that ryan ..

Editing it to work on other consoles is easy!
Anyone can do it, just put the files in C://Documents and Settings/(Name Here)
Go to command prompt, type in freethewads.exe (name of wad file here).wad change
If you cant do anything after that, you need help.
If you cant get to that part, try shortening the wad file name, that usually works for me.

to get it to work from PAL to NTSC you need to do alot more work.

Bomberman Blast PAL.

Wait what!? Bomberman Blast is out already

I want.

Bomberman Blast has been dumped and doesn't work on NTSC-U with freethewads. The wad's video mode has to be converted to NTSC first for it to work properly.
it doesn'y work properly. i get it to work, however, the screen flickers up and down very fast rendering the game unplayable. what app did you use.

Actually I didn't realize it until just recently when someone else mentioned it, it's a video mode issue that's giving me a brain freeze at the moment. It works fine in 480p, but the flicker is there in 480i like you mentioned.

These are the original modes

1. PAL (progressive) Resolution: 640x528
2. PAL (progressive) Resolution: 640x528
3. PAL (progressive) Resolution: 640x264
4. NTSC (interlaced) (a.k.a. NTSC 480i) Resolution: 640x480
5. MPAL (interlaced) Resolution: 640x480
6. PAL (interlaced) (a.k.a. PAL 576i) Resolution: 640x528
7. PAL60 (interlaced) (a.k.a. PAL 480i) Resolution: 640x480
8. PAL60 (progressive) (a.k.a. PAL 480p) Resolution: 640x480

Using the Video Mode Changer smart patcher PAL -> NTSC changes it to this

1. PAL (progressive) Resolution: 640x528
2. PAL (progressive) Resolution: 640x528
3. PAL (progressive) Resolution: 640x264
4. NTSC (interlaced) (a.k.a. NTSC 480i) Resolution: 640x480
5. MPAL (interlaced) Resolution: 640x480
6. MPAL (interlaced) Resolution: 640x480
7. NTSC (interlaced) (a.k.a. NTSC 480i) Resolution: 640x480
8. NTSC (progressive) (a.k.a. NTSC 480p) Resolution: 640x480

I'm not exactly sure where the problem is, anyone care to educate me?

Looks like Bomberman Blast could be an attmept to stop region free gaming...
I found bomberman blast yesterday (No thanks to JimmyBobAlex), and luckily I've got a PAL wii, so I dont need to do any patching.
I wonder if this will happen for games in the US....
Please dont!
I want to play strongbad episode 2!

Mind stating how you fixed it?

all i did was change the video out put in the WAD, then i used freethewads to change the region setting and just change some other setting on it thats all.

Doesnt free the wads change the video output anyway?
I've changed NTSC to PAL many times using just freethewads and they work perfectually on my wii.

FTW only changes the region code.

US Wiiware still works on my PAL wii only using freethewads.
The only thing I've noticed is that if I play a patched US wiiware for more than an hour, the nintendo channel doesnt think i did.
So, Maybe what Mr.Ryan did was to make the nintendo channel think it is a PAL/NTSC game
