most likely on the downloads section seeing that most of the links there lead to wiiubru.com

State what you need to download. Or delete this thread and message wiiubru mantainer. We can't magically bring the site up.

I don't understand, why do you post on GBATemp about an offsite guide not loading for you, when the best guides for Wii U Modding are right here on GBATemp, like the one in my Sig.

The source of all the guides and modding info about Wii U, started right here on GBATemp, most of the time. So why go anywhere else? Why go to an outside 3rd party source, and not the Origin?

And please don't take my post the wrong way, I am not trying to bash you, or trash talk, or anything negative at all.

I am really just curious about why people do this.

I was told to follow that specific guide by people on this site so I don't get it, I'm assuming even if I used the gbatemp guide id still have to download stuff stored on wiiubru.com

I mean you dont even need NNUPatcher seeing its used to access the eshop on older firmwares which you can install haxchi on the latest firmware
but while wiiubru is down i was able to find some of the files otherwhere
Mocha: https://github.com/dimok789/mocha/releases/tag/v0.2
Wup Installer GX2 Channel: https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-wup-installer-gx2-rpx-channel.456199/
still missing the homebrew version of wup installer gx2

Nope. Most of the guides on GBATemp (Like the one in my sig), link to the files you need, but they link you to the source of the files. That way if there is an update of any of the files, you can download the updated version since its the source of the files by the Homebrew Author.

Its always a good idea for Guides to link you directly to the source of the files, so the end-user can always the latest version of what ever files they are looking for.

I see many 3rd party guides download all the files you need, then package them in a zip, then upload them at the end of their guide for the user to download. But the problem with that is, when there is an update of one or more of the files, the user will then be using an older outdated version.

The community guide links you to the github source like mentioned above. No wiiubru.com links. Your assumption is incorrect. Wiiubru.com is a great site. But its not the source of the releases. Its just hosts them for you.

Oh yeah, I was thinking of a different site. WiiuBru.com is a great site. Sorry about that. I got mixed up. There are so many sites that have WiiU and Bru or Brew in the title, I got confused. lol.
