WiiSXRX won't recognize my controller.

Today I tried playing Crash Bandicoot on WiiSXRX for the first time. I previously had played Mega Man X4 and it ran perfectly. When I started the game it started as normal, then I was greeted to the menu. Nothing froze but whatever button I pressed on my classic controller pro resulted in nothing. The only input that "worked" was the up direction with the right analog stick. It brought me to what I think is the level select screen.
Please help!

ive got the same problem did you ever find the solution
