Homebrew WiiSXR cue and bin files

I have some PS1 games on my Wii, but they come in bin and cue files. Do I need the cue files or can I delete them?

You can delete them most of the time.

Don't delete them. Many games need it for the audio track.

And they only take like 1KB so there really isn't any need to worry about them.

He's asking if he can delete them for WiiSXR on his Wii console. The emulator is not compatible with cdda audio tracks, which he can also delete. I think it's pretty obvious he shouldn't delete or modify the original backup.
