i have a problem when i try to load an ISO from the USB 2.0 mod of beta 2 i get an error about it not finding the directory but i know its already on my usb drive so anyone know the issue here?

you got your wiisx folder on your usbdrive? you have to start it from usb, if you want to load isos from there.

Is your usb drive FAT32?
Is it partitioned (and if so, is the FAT32 a primary partition)?
Have you installed ios202?

EDIT - Will get round to jotting down the IDs before adding to the wiki.....
Breath Of Fire III (NTSC-U) - Runs just about perfect, no problems at all!
Bishi Bashi 3 (NTSC-J) - Runs just about perfect! Maybe some slight slowdown between screens, nothing bad...
Bubble Bobble/Rainbow Islands (PAL) - Runs just about perfect! Maybe 1 or 2 frames skipping sometimes...
Pandemonium (PAL) - Some slowdown every now and again, otherwise perfect
Legend Of Mana (NTSC-U) - Seems to work fine, cept I can't get the controller working... BIOS on, not really mucked around with it tbh...

Ok ok, now i found it, \wiisx\settings.cfg got created when i saved the options.
No luck with samba, it doesn't work for me.
Xenogears (in SD) is ok, perfect speed and classic controls. It saves, but freezes the wii when i try to load. Using SCPH1001.BIN BIOS. Using HLE, i got code dump before Fei's intro, the dream in Welltall.

You could try pimp my wii, it will download and install latest version.

i've finally installed usb 2 ios etc and when i try to run spyro with frameskip off or on from my wd mypassport hdd it goes slow as hell at about 1fps it's unplayable.

I tried vagrant Story PAL with PAL bios (SCPH1002) because the game is not working with US bios. But it didn't help.
When I discovered that the game "Loaded" (US) worked with SCPH1002 while it doesn't with SCPH1001.

Maybe 1001 is buggy ?
I'll test 1002 when 1001 doesn't work now -_^

Your question was already answered in that thread! WiiSX is known to be buggy with the Classic Controller so stick to the gamecube controller!

When I play Marvel Vs Capcom with classic controller it works but I often get code dumps..not so with GCN controller!

Just something I found, but it's not of a great importance :

The memory card's filename based on the Disc ID is a good idea, but it has a flaw with games with Multi disc, as they have different disc ID.
So, you can't load your saves from disc1 if you start disc2

To prevent this problem :
You need to disable auto loading save, load disc1, load memory card manually, then load disc2.
(using the swap CD method to load the memory card doesn't work)

Are you saying that by using Bios SCPH1002 the classic controller problems are solved?

Are you saying that by using Bios SCPH1002 the classic controller problems are solved?

The Classic Controller (not pro) analog problem always pointing in a direction is not solved with 1002.
I don't have a pro to test, but I don't think the bios has anything to do with the pad.
The PAL bios seems to correct some game compatibilities though (even for NTSC games)

Spoiler: If you want, I can test one of these games.. well if I find the CD, maybe I miss one or two

Color = already tested
green = works, red= Doesn't work, orange = Issue

Some of them need the subchannel, but I can't rip it for the moment.
(ie. Valkyrie Profile needs it)

Xenogears has already been tested, by many people, and many different results

I'll test Suikoden US

Result for Suiko1 :
Game runs fine. No audio at all on videos (logo, intro, etc.)
Tested from SMB, dynarec, Frame Limiter ON, Frame skip OFF. overall slightly laggy (because of Samba. I'm sure USB2.0 plays it fine 100%)

Result for Suiko2 :
Game runs fine, the audio is slightly laggy sometime (on video mostly), but good while in game.
Running from USB with USB2.0 Mod, dynarec, Frame Limiter ON, Frame Skip OFF.

I got codedump in Metal Slug X short into the third stage, only played once so dont know if it was random. otherwise worked pretty nice, classic controller. Going to try GTA soon too.
