ohh I see, well thanks, if you want to post the reverted version, I'll give it a try.

so far only the original had a great framerates, that sucks because we have to play with FPS display + gamecube pad.

it seems to be hard to get the "perfect" mix hehe

I don't know what this is but I'm about to try it out. Thanks.

Edit: I read the readme and now I know what it is.

Yeah, it works great for me too, thanks a lot! One question though: it is supposed to favor USB storage if it is connected, right? Do I need a USB 2.0 drive? It doesn't work with any of my thumbdrives (it only lets me browse my SD card) but then again all of them are kinda old. 'S okay, though, as long as SOTN fits on my SD card, I'm happy.

Does anyone here know if there is a PSX iso trimmer?

The only way to trim PSX isos smaller is to actually remove data. There are no big blank spaces in PS1 discs to fill them to max disc size (700MB) like there are for wii games. There are a few compression formats that are really good for playing PS1 games (Z and bZ) but they aren't currently supported by the emu so there isn't a whole lot you can do to shrink down the size of the games will still having them be playable.

I want to use my 8GB SDHC SD card for WiiSX, but my Wii can't read it. It's probably because I don't have a  IOS installed.
Which one do I need to install?

couldn't work out a couple linker errors with the source and stoped work on it + real life got in the way, ill will pick it back up after i clear my head, I need to rewrite some of the C only functions and structures into c++ equeviliant or think of a clever way to to mix the two sources better. But changing some stuff to c++ may cause some performance problems with the plug-ins due to the way the emulator handles the modules.

If you update your system to 4.0, then SDHC should work just fine. Otherwise, when you launch the Hombrew Channel, press the Home button on the wiimote, and select RELOAD. The contents of your 8gb card should now show up, and you can launch WiiSX from there. This was a small annoyance to load SDHC cards on older system menus.

I forgot to rename the .dol file to boot.dol, that's why it didn't work....

big old game update from yours truley D-J-Place!!

well let's start

3xtreme=works fine in game and menu seems to be a little slow did the dycama stander combo... speed was around 50 fps...

activisonclassic=speed like around 50-60 FPS game play is fine with keystone capers there are like 30 games in there and i'm not going test them all...

battle arena toshindo=graphics looked messed up when i started a fight then after 1 sec of the fight the game froze on me it does not work at all so don't bother with it.

boombots=audio messed up but other spped is around 50-60 fps. and the game gracphics are fine

that's all i have for now... stay tune next time for more of my psx reports. for this kick ass emulator.

i got bored the other night and tried to play some games i've been meaning to play.

I tried Persona 2: Innocent Sin (never came out in USA, but I used JAP to ENG fan translation) and it played pretty damn well! the sound was garble like most other games, so i will wait to another release, but if you don't mind garbled sound it ran pretty well on Dynarec or whatever. (mind you i only played like 20 min or so). I can't wait to the sound problem is fixed, we aren't too far away to a complete psx emulator imo!

(Sorry about my off-topic post)

Anyway, you can play the original PlayStation games with .img format, in this emulator. I tried a .img game and it works perfectly!
