Hacking WiiScrubber 1.40 help

I tried editing files in Mario Kart Wii and after it reparsed them, that's what it said. I clicked the + and it had garbled filenames too. (Obviously I messed up the file I tried replacing into the ISO)

Maybe it's a bad rip?

just use a brick blocker app(wui1.1) to remove updates from game ISO's

...Brick Blocker hasn't removed the update partition :S

Have any of you kept older versions of WiiScrubber? I've noticed that newer isn't always better. I go back and forth between 1.3 and 1.4 because of certain bugs each one has.

It wont remove the update partition it removes the files in the update so you can probably scrubb it to a smaller size I think

It will scrub smaller. It doesn't actually remove updates, just replaces them with the one that came on Wii Sports (just IOS9 v516 and boot2v2). Even launch day consoles had those installed already, so there is no wii that will ever find a need to install it.
