Are you using the Wii U Wii Remotes that are backwards compatible with the Wii? Or are you using a Wii controller originally just made for the Wii? Also Wii Motion Plus controllers tend to have issues with Wii mods as well including getting unsynced.

Certain mods are incapable of running certain wii mote's. But if it works it should not be a problem, just keep in mind that Wii U controllers, and motion plus may have issues with certain mods.

Did you update it via the normal process from the system menu? If so it probably stubbed your custom IOSes.

Post a Syscheck report (in spoiler tags.)

It's an issue with the cIOS. it's installed incorrectly. reloading the slot where the cIOS is installed resets the SYSCONF data which hold the Wiimote sync information.
You can fix your problem by reinstalling the d2x cIOS (overwrite the existing one, you don't need to delete it).

    it's rare, but it happens.
it happened to me once. it's easy to fix :)

A cIOS is a custom IOS made to inhance Wii features. You can try updating, and reinstalling the d2x IOS but I wouldn't rely on my information.

Why not ask your Dad for help if possible?

    That's very easy, don't worry.

    Step1:
So, I suppose you are on a real Wii (not a WiiU vWii mode), but just in case I'll provide both version. Please, don't mix them !
    d2x cIOS installer Wii
    d2x cIOS installer vWii

Download and extract the correct package to your SD card. (or usb, but SD is always better for homebrew channel), in such a way that you'll have this :
    SD:/apps/d2x installer/boot.dol
    -----------------^
that folder you can create it and name it like you want.
You need to put in that folder these files and folders:

    boot.dol
    meta.xml
    icon.png
    ciosmaps.xml
    v7/ folder
    v8/ folder
    v10/ folder

    Step2:
on wii, launch the "d2x cIOS installer" homebrew.
with d-Pad left/right, change the options to :

    What : d2x v8 Final
    slot : 249
    base : 56
    version : 21008
    Press A to install.
when completed, press Home to exit.

    Step3:
Launch USBLoaderGX to test if it still unsync the wiimote. it should be fixed.

    Note1 :
I told you to install v8 final, as it's the latest stable release.
There is a newer version (v10 and v10-alternative), you don't need this version if v8 is working fine for you.
If the drive is not detected, you can try to install v10 (beta52) instead of v8.
You don't need v10-alt (beta53) unless you want to connect 2 HDD at the same time.

    Note2:
this installer requires the network connection as it download files on nintendo's servers. be sure you have a working wifi setup.

Can you post a Sys Check here if possible?
Also. All I can really say to WHY it is not working is either becuase the system can't install it, or the cIOS is not being installed correctly.

    Also I installed d2x fine on IOS 247 & 248

Is USB Loader GX working at all by the way, or does it crash on start up?

Also what Wii Model do you have? Wii mini, Black Wii, and White Wii all have different modding, and firmware abilities.

Trucha Bug may have to be present on your Wii. But it installed fine on mine by just patching, and installing iOS 39 in MMM, and removing all STUB IOS's on the system.

The boot.dol allows an application on Homebrew to launch. It allows you to run the modification when you select it.

There should be three files to allow the app to run (Not the cIOS) (Just the installer for it.)
    Those files are a
.png (Renders Photo on HBC to show app picture/banner.)
.dol (Allows you to boot into the application.)
    .xml (I'm guessing data.)

Without those files on the app's folder with the sub folder that goes into it (In this case cIOS d2x installer.) They should be in a named folder for it (So the directory should be SD:/apps/(Name of cIOS d2x installer.)

Also I'm just talking about myself... I know embarcing, happens when I talk in discussions sometimes, and no those files are just to launch the app, and allow it to function. You don't need the files present once you install the cIOS because it will already be on the system NAND.

Also the WAD Files (AKA) cIOS should not be on the root of the SD Card. The only time they should be on the root is if an app searches for the wad directly on the SD Card, (An example would be Priiloader hash/hacks.ini file.) The WAD's (aka cIOS Files.) (In this case the ones you installed.) Are required for the system to allow USB Loader GX to work correctly with USB Support so therefore they must be present on the Wii NAND since it can't search, and function on the SD Card at the same time (If that makes any sense.)

The D-Pad is the controller navigation (Left, Right, Up, Down.) It controllers where you move on the screen.

So your saying you installed the cIOS File, and it is installed perfectly. But the Wii remotes turn off ocasionally (or on boot.) Try @Cyan 's method, is your Wii Remote turning off with any other app's, or is it just this particular one in general? If so it can't be a problem with the Wii Remote, it's a problem with the app on HBC not rendering your Wiimote properly. That's why I suggested to use a regular Wii remote to test if the mod can identify it.

Also it's no problem. We're all trying to help you figure this out.

Thank you guys so much! I put my sd card in my computer I installed the cios into my files and then i8 started looking at the boot.dol and I decided to search them well I found most of them and put them into the d2x but there were two that gave me a blank search page those were the icon.png and the ciosmaps.xml and I have a black wii
