Hardware Wiimote/console weird issue

Today I transfered My Wii`s Miis to my nintendo 3DS.Everything just fine.

Then I started Uloader And selected Metroid Prime Trilogy but I did not see the wiimotes hand(Cursor or whatever it is called) so I pushed the home button to see if the game was not working but the little hand did not show up.I turned the wii off and now my wiimote does not turn on.

Is my wiimote dead?

Yes but my mote dos not turn on.

doesn't matter, can still be caused by the wii mote not being synced.

press the red sync button on the wii and the wiimote.

I know the wii can block out the wii remotes when in gamecube mode. Maybe you've noticed when playing a gamecube game the remotes don't respond at all. Try unplugging the wii and removing the batteries for a few minutes and try it again.
