I was using WiiMC to play my DVDs, and it worked perfectly. Then I found out my Wii's fan was busted, and it caused a heating issue, so I replaced the fan. The wii no longer has the heating issue, and the fan is working but WiiMC is no longer reading DVDs. It keeps saying the IOS is unsupported. I tried the same DVD I used before, plus a few different ones, am I overlooking something?
(I'm kinda new here, just joined because I'm very confused)

Are you playing from burned DVD's or original one's? What is the jailbreak of your wii, optical drive chip jailbreak or softmod? Can be you misaligned something when took apart to replace the fan

Please verify the drive as such is working (loading original games).

Did you change anything on the software side?
I'm playing original dvds, softmod, its possible I could have misaligned something, but I was being very careful. The games still work perfectly fine, and aside from the homebrew done prior nothing was changed

For me if you want to emulate the DS the best option is on Android, use DraStic and a controller that holds your phone... it's clunky but it works insanely well. The next best option in my opinion is using a New 3DS XL, not really emulation but hacked it works really well.
