Why is it a lot of these creative types tend to be complete douches?!?
Ever tried being creative? It usually consists of working your butt off to actually produce something that works, then get about 10 times as much complaints of people with a completely different setup as people who give praise. And in the event that your work gets popular...someone changes a few lines and presents it as "their" work.

I don't know anything of an enhancement pack, but perhaps it follows the same guidelines as gbatemp for romzz: you can discuss it all you want, but you have to obtain it elsewhere. Perhaps try pm'ing someone about it? Or check your sources for romz?

@hvckz: if it's any comfort: JoostinOnline already knew more of wii hacking when he joined here than I did at that time. And he's generous in sharing whatever he knows.

I've made themes and stuff. If you're not willing to deal with that kind of stuff, then don't make things and release them. There's no point in getting butthurt about those types of things.

Just love how people are fast at extrapolating...

From WiiMC board:

QUOTE
The WIIMC+ Enhancement Pack Patch, documentation and Guides will be provided to those who PM a valid email address to jhb50 on the WIIMC Forum.

First post of the topic where you posted your questions (and there are still there as I can see them, which either mean they didn't get deleted or you have been flooding their board with the same question)

If you didn't receive anything, that means the guy is not available right now, that's all
I know and I've done that a couple of times over the past month with no reply. Also, that just seems really dumb. Why make people go through all that and even have to go to another site? Why not just put the link in the damn thread like a normal person!?!? Also, no pre compiled version? He also makes people compile it themselves...

and here is a channel/forwarder, for the theme mod, fragglepower 666 made this to go with the theme mod, it has? aphorot?, how ever this confusing word is spelled. lol.. this way you can launch just like the regular wiimc, but will have your mod launch instead of regular wiimc. works with all wiimc. 1.1.0-1.1.8

i couldnt get it to set up right and work for me either

Okay thank you for trying

The new 10b based on WiiMC 1.1.9 comes precompiled, so now there is no need for compiling ourselves... I can post a link to the file but I am not sure it is allowed...

Maybe off topic, but how do I change volume using the '+' and '-' buttons without accidently adding folders or tracks to the playlist? Just testing this now thanks for any help.

You don't. This is why I hadn't added this "feature".

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them
    +1
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
    +1
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm

  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space

  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
Nor clothes 🤮 . Saves on time, soap, water and money having to wash them. :D
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@rqkaiju2, Physical media is a great source for archiving your data, none of that cloud storage shiz.

[squeezes @SylverReZ onto a physical media, then archives you in my old stuff box] :tpi::rofl2::tpi:
