nothing special,from what i hear.. every one has been talking latlie about how bad wiimc is latly i must have missed something during my cross country move.
the only thing i can offer is in my spoiler. so look there. but your going to have to down grade to the best wiimc. IMOP. 1.4.4 or 1.1.5.. if you want to use it.

Yea 1.2.2 is the best for me at the moment. 1.2.3 and 1.2.4 keep losing internet connection and or buffering way too much. Hopefully it gets resolved.

whats so hard about joining the wiimc forum and send a pm to the creator with your email?

all updates get automatically sent out, and the email contains a compiled dol as well

1) Why not just make it public?
2) I don't like giving my email address to strangers, especially when there is no need for it.

Whilst I agree with you, for stuff like that I use a disposable email like http://mailinator.com/ or http://www.spambog.com/en/

@ rich333 the other problem is they take a long time to answer you, an thats if they answer. i asked more then once. gave them my email, my wifes email. an still waiting on answer.(6months my be a year ago.) thats why i went hunting for my own, an found it.. yeah outdated in the terms that it doesn't work with newer updates (past 1.1.5). but from what i read wiimc doesn't work all that well either (past 1.1.5). so i will stay were i'm at. who cares about youtube an all that,most tv's have a port to plug laptop/computers to any way.

I think that requirering registration is stupid but they have the right to do so
If the distribute a binary someone should just post it here

because if they send you an enhancement pack binary
it is based on WiiMC which is in turn based on MPlayer
MPlayer is GPL which means that anything based (even transiently) on it can be distributed freely

they can (and do) rule out posting the binary on THEIR forum but not HERE (or anywhere else)
(but I would use a different username to avoid getting banned there)

if they only supply patches but no complete binary things might differ since that patch might not include things from Mplayer

didn't take long at all for the guy to send me the files to my email, less than 36 hours, so i dont know why you never got it....

ok, wow. but still not really all that much different. i'll stick with what i have. i don't use wii mc anymore all that much. i have my jewel( acer veriton) hocked to my tv.
an can do what these files will do. an really didn't have to wait for a response from someone. but thanks for sharing the files.

Question, is there a specific forum / area devoted just to WiiMC+ , like where I can download the latest code, themes, etc. I was told to just go the the forum and download the lastest .dol from jb.. (forgot the rest of his handle) to get the latest version that fixes Youtube.

Wondering if there is a Fan area for WiiMC+ users, where we can all share. Just being on the email list is soooo, none interfacing
