So, I've downgraded my Wii from 3.3 to 3.2, and the WiiKey v1 1.9s worked like before - awesome. It still blocked Updates without Problems...then I made maybe a big fault...I inserted Config Disk 1.4, and select "Block Updates" to off...saved seetings, reboot, and voila, Updates aren't blocked now...Now the Problem..I wanted to enable the "Block Updates" to On again, inserted Disk, select on, saved, reboot....Updates aren't blocked! They are showing up in the Disk Channel and want to install...tried it again...On, saved, reboot...still doesn't worked..tried again with with off, save, reboot, then on, save, reboot..also doesn't worked...Any Help?...please..I don't want to update...

You can use freeloader for now to get rid of the updates (you'll have to insert it every time you use the game) for the time being. As how to get rid of your wiikey problem, I have no idea.

Yeah Wiikey 1.9s is pretty buggy. If you don't get it working again you can use Starfall to block updates.

I'm having a problem with my wiikey v1...
I pick up my wii today (It was broken,the lases just broke)...
And every game just run fine, but Mario Galaxy is not working fine..
Than I try to install the update 1.9s to wiikey, when I insert the disc, the game cube icon apers and I click on Start.
Than it just bring me this message.

"An error has ocurred.
Press the Eject Button, remove the Game Disc, and turn the power off.
Please read the wii operations manual for more information."

Can somebody help me?I've tried everything..
My wii was 3.3v2U, than I downgraded to 3.2U, trucha signed games is working fine, but the wiikey disc isn't.

Thanks..

@radionds

I had the same error when I accidentally burnt the disc as data DVD instead of burning image ISO to DVD. I know...silly of me, but it happens when one is awake for 24 hours.

If not, try re-burning it or DVD+RW first and maybe at a slower speed? I did mine at 4x.

You probably have either a badly burnt/damaged disc. Like stated above, try reburning. Another reason could be if you have the configuration disc instead of the update. Make sure you didn't burn the wrong one! Oh, and make sure when burning that it's the right size. Mine worked on GC size (1.2 or 1.3GB I think), but some have had to make theirs a full 4.3GB for it to work. Can't remember how that was done though, sorry.
