Will the 3.0 Firmware bust the Wiikey?

I've been looking around for a definite answer and have found none - it's all about getting 3.0U Metroid running on PAL Wiis.

No, it won't. I have 3.0U running on the NTSC Wii and put the backup of Metroid in there and it does the quick update, which doesn't even change the firmware (stays 3.0U) and runs fine.

You should, just for safetys sake, be on 3.0U firmware before popping in the Metroid game. I don't see anything happening, but just in case
