Hacking Wiikey 1.9G update question

This might be a stupid question, but i'm going to update my 1.9b wiikey to 1.9g in order to play Smash Bros. So I downloaded the update, burned the pal iso on a dvd (since my wii is pal) and booted it using gcos... All went well, but when I come on the updating screen I noticed that on the top it says something like Wiikey 1.9g beta (US). Is this normal? Isn't it supposed to say (Pal) of something? Could someone with a pal wii check with their update disc?
