with sylver778 posting in the wwt thread that he's compiled a ppc 10.5 compatible version, does that mean zon7 that you can make a ppc 10.5 compatible version of wiijmanager

hope so
Hello madeirabhoy,
could you confirm that the command line version I posted here is working well on your 10.5 PPC ? I have nothing to test PPC version
frown.gif

If needed I can help zon7 to build an universal binary version of wwt (but information are available here) so WiiJManager could work on any Mac Computer (with MacOS X 10.4 or better and a compatible java runtime).

Hi Sylver78 where you able to build a universal version?
Hi,
madeirabhoy confirmed in a private message that it's running on his PowerPC Mac so I guess that the answer is "yes"

I've finally had some time to work on WiiJManager. I've implemented most of the changes you requested

Changes in 0.7:
QUOTE said:
-Added rescan button
-Added resize window
-Updated to Wiimms 0.40 (Support for --sections)
-Replaced spaces in folder names with "_" for better support in OS X and linux (next release).
-Solved throwed exception when updating list.

As always you can download it in the first post.

@Sylver78 or @madeirabhoy, can you try it on 10.5? Thanks.

@Wiimm: The --sections worked like a charm. Lot of code has been simplified. I miss having an extra field with the supposed size of an iso in wbf/wdf, as it's shown when you use "wwt -lll ..."

Well, fast upload. When arrived home and tested in OSX there where two bugs. Already fixed and changed the download link (Now is 0.7.1).
Sorry

@zon
there is a size= param (size in bytes). Di you need something like size_mib= or size_scrubbed= ?

Feel free to ask for more
- section params
- commands that support --sections

@Wiimm
Yes, I'm using the size param, but when the file is an iso, wwt -lll provided the aproximated size of the wbfs or wdf equivalent I think, and I retrieved the file size from the file info, so I can put both in the table...only for info

Hi zon7,
version 0.7.1 is just impossible to use on my MacOS 10.6.3, there are some missing things :
v071.png

On 10.5 it's just don't even launch
frown.gif
(I see the java icon jumping in the task bar and then it disappears) but running the wwt tool in command line mode is ok on both 10.5 and 10.6.

The next release will have "used_blocks=12345". (multiply with 32K)

Hi sorry i was away.

It opens on my 10.5 ppc, but i get the same screen as slyver78 two panels with select folder /D... and buttons refresh list

Just started using this program, its a great front end for WWT, however I was wondering if it's possible to add a 'Format' button. I ended up having to download one of the other managers to format the partition to WBFS.

does wiijmanager allowing writing of .wbfs files to fat32 partitions?

if not, can this be incorporated into any future update?

As soon as I test the linux version and solve the Mac problem I'll add the format command. And I expect that the next thing will be posting the code.

Sorry, I didn't add that I'm interested in the mac-osx version of your program.

At the moment using Wii backup manager because you can generate and write .wbfs files to fat32 partitions but it's only available for windows..

Ok so i'm trying to use this thing on my mac...but like for some reason the .jar file doesn't even open >.> I mean the application launches then just closes down by itself...plus there's no other simple way to add already converted wbfs files to a drive on mac so i'm really confused with options here -_-

Have updated the jar with the fix to OSX rdisk. It was a problem with a null pointer not being casted.
As always, the download link is in the first post.
Thanks to you all for the feedback

@NiGHtS Can you be more specific? System, java version. You can post the contents of the log.txt. You can also run the file as "java -jar WiiJManager.jar" from the terminal and tell me what exception it throws.

zon7 : great ! working perfectly on my 10.6
on 10.5.8 I have this :
CODE$ java -version

@zon:
do you know that "wwt find" will scan all partitions and report if a WBFS is found?

Code:
# wwt find
/dev/sdb2

# wwt find -lH
BLOCKÂÂ--ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ0ÂÂ190782ÂÂ/dev/sda
BLOCKÂÂ--ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ0ÂÂÂÂÂÂ24ÂÂ/dev/sda1
BLOCKÂÂ--ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ0ÂÂÂÂ2055ÂÂ/dev/sda2
BLOCKÂÂ--ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ0ÂÂ188701ÂÂ/dev/sda3
BLOCKÂÂ--ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ0ÂÂ476940ÂÂ/dev/sdb
BLOCKÂÂ--ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ0ÂÂ381481ÂÂ/dev/sdb1
BLOCK WBFSÂÂÂÂÂÂ 0ÂÂ 95457ÂÂ/dev/sdb2

@sylver78 Did previous versions of WiiJDownloader work for you? Cause I've not made a single change in the GUI front. I'll check it later.

@Wiimm: Yes, I'm using that command, but in osx and since the change to rdisk, it displays a list of partitions and at the end the wbfs partitions that are the ones I'm catching.

I've never tried previous version of WiiJManager on Mac OS 10.5 (as my computer is running on 10.6 and I have to do tests on another computer that is still running 10.5), I can test but I guess it's not a new problem, just something related to the use of java 1.5 instead of java 1.6 ...
