It can probably can already be done, but I wanna have VC games modified with hi-res textures, widescreen support & so on, similar to how it's possible on PC emulation.

I'd love to see a custom firmware like the one on the PSP for playing ISO. In fact, it'd be nice to have proper region free support.

But I'd also love to see the USB port being used to for USB pen or a media center

A n64 emu that has wii remote and nunchuck support. There are scripts to use the wiimote/nunchuck with a pc n64 emulator, so....its possible.

I just want to add if some dev/s decide to develop a WiiMAME that they couldnt go wrong with checking the sourcecode of the gp2x version it runs just fine for 80% of the games with sound and fullscreen and they have chosen specifically roms that arent over demanding.

...but not as great as a Saturn emulator... Radiant Silvergun FTW!

A PSX Emulation channel would certainly be nice (and is quite possible). Not for Final Fantasy 7 playback though as anyone who's taken the time to play it know Final Fantasy 9 is significantly superior (in fact, maybe the best game of all time).

I would also like a Linux channel with some form of DE (desktop environment). Whatever the Wii's hardware can support will, of course, be amazing.

Saturn..... I love saturn. I have a modded system somewhere. I used to love burning rangers (needs a wiimake!), gardian heroes, radiant silvergun, panzer dragoon series ect.

What would be great is a SSH channel with two modes.

Host: This mode allows you to connect to the Wii through SSH and modify files on it's file system.

Client: This mode allows you to use the Wii as a general SSH client. Think of the possibilities.
