Hello everyone,

for some time i have something strange about the backup loader v0.3 beta.
I recently downgraded to 3.2E and the backup loader works perfectly, i could even make all my tests with the isos i had.
But for a while, regardless the game I launch, the loader freezes on the launching screen and my wiimote losts the sync with the wii. I tried all my games and there was no exception.. So I tried to uninstall the CIOS and begin a new installation with Wiigator's CIOS36 rev 6 but the results are the same. There isn't any game that boots now. Do any of you have an idea or experienced the same?

i am able to every other ISO without problems.

any idea what's wrong?

on the chance that it was pre-patched i tried burning it but it didn't work on the wii so i don't think that was it

Wario Land: The Shake Dimension - 1:1 - loads the title screen, intro video is VERY choppy (sound is bad too) - game crashes with "cannot read disc" error after the first "loading" screen. Cannot get it to play. Can't understand why some have said the PAL version works - they must have only got to the title screen/intro video and got bored waiting for it to finish - it definitely does not work for me...Unplayable.

No, I've played the first few levels of the PAL 1:1 version and it runs fine - not a single crash/DRE (the opening video is very choppy though).

Playable, and a fun game too.

Sounds like a bad ISO.. Since it couldnt retrieve the info,

Nope, I haven't had any issues with it, Runs like a normal Wii disk,

Yes i have had issues with world tour. I can not get past the world tour load screen at the begining. i have tried original iso, and patched

can i ask where you got your world tour ISO? i got mine from a torrent with REDEMPTED in the name, and it won't patch. i tried another torrent with wiiSOS in the name and it was the exact same file.

i would really like to try this game because i already bought it for the household for christmas but i want to play it in secret before then!

You dont need to patch it.

Just burn it 1:1 and play.

I got an NTSC Wii just made of a copy of Dance dance revolution hottest party 2 NTSC 1:1 and runned it on Wiigatorsbackuploader0.3 and it runs perfectly except for the Main menu music that stops for 2 seconds and plays for 2 seconds.. Other than that it plays 100%

Could someone possibly help me out with burning Brawl DVD9 on a Memorex DVD+R DL?

Everytime I burn it using ImgBurn, after waiting two hours, it says the disc is empty. Meaning it didn't write anything on the disc.

I checked and my drive DOES support DL.

It shouldn't be taking 2hrs to start with, so something is wrong there. 2.4x = 40-50mins to burn (then another 10-15mins to verify).

Are you setting the layerbreak correctly before you burn? It should be 2084960 for SSBB.

Yes, I set the layerbreak to the specified one.

But what could be the problem?

The weird thing is, whenever I burn just a regular 1 layer disc ISO, it takes 2 hours for that also. But it still writes something on the disc.

if burns are taking you 2 hours you really need to sort your pc out - are your hd's thrashing all the time?

My HD's seem just fine. No problems with anything.

I really never thought 2 hours was bad.

I thought it was the normal time for it.

Maybe there is a problem, how could I fix it?

a normal 8x burn should take around 8minutes. 15mins for 4x and about 5-6mins for 16x.

A double layer 2.4x burn will take around 40-55mins depending on how full the disc is.

Make sure DMA is enabled on the drive controller:

EDIT: It seems DMA is enabled for all things. They've been on DMA mode the whole time...

Mario Super Strikers Football (PAL, Patched, Force NTSC) - Works great, no skipping in the videos. Only got PAL as it was labeled NTSC
Samba De Amigo (NTSC, 1:1) - Works great, noticable skipping in the intro video, about every 5 seconds
Lost in Blue: Shipwrecked (NTSC, 1:1) - Works great, no skipping in videos
