Browsing tehskeen ( http://tehskeen.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6322 ) I came across the newspost that dhewg has released a new version of Wiifuse.
This one sports extraction of virtual console titles allowing them to be run on PC emulators.
Adapted slightly from the wiki: http://wiibrew.org/index.php?title=Wiifuse
about
Wiifuse is a program that allows you to mount a gamecube or wii dvd disc image as a read-only part of the file system. this allows users to browse the directory structure and read the files within.
In contrast to the gamecube, wii images do have multiple partitions. these are encrypted, and wiifuse supports on the fly decryption - provided you have the required 128bit AES key.
Furthermore, wiifuse provides access to special data found on these disc's. among others, this includes the main executable and informational things like the game name.

requirements (may not suit some people)

* an operating system which
-is supported by FUSE
-supports POSIX compatible threads
* FUSE 2.6.x or higher
* openssl

ehh

wii and gamecube DISCS.. NOT virtual console games stored on yer wii
Since we still cannot run anything in wii-mode (still waitin for the zelda exploit to work..) we cannot access the wii itself.. only gamecube mode stuff.

for some reason it says @ the latest version:
"support for virtual console partitions (found 14 vc games on brawl)"

they found virtual console games ON the brawl disc? weird.

Hey, thinking about it, as soon as we can alter and sign discs, this would open the oportunity to put other VC games on the Disc!! Go WIIbrew GO!!
