Hardware WiiFree

Hey, new to gbatemp, looking everywhere but cant find an answer!

The problem is I got my Wii modded with WiiFree at a shop and I managed to get a ISO of a game. It was in PAL format (my region) and i burnt on Imiation DVD-R at half the maximum speed (16x). I put this into the Wii and got the read error messsage. I thought it was my mistake so i made several copies at diffrent speeds and even patched them to diffrent regions using correct region codes. Nothing still, I can play originals but no backups.
Does anyone know the problem so I can tell the guy who modded it?

Medal of Honor, Pal and yes for media

Does anyone have any idea cause im tripping out! i cant see the guy for another two days, he is closed sundays and tomorrow is public holiday!
