You know, it is fun to play with my friends through wifi with both of us having ocarina on.

Perhaps YOU play with your friends , but some others are just losers and can't play without cheating , even if they're not with friends.
and that sucks.....

So, the selling of knifes should be banned, because somebody just use it to...

To the ppl who cant grasp the fact that Wiiflow doesnt allow ocarina whilst on wifi need to use a different loader most ppl arent bothered about it apart from the ppl who want to cheat online EVEN with FRIENDS. Just because you say "I Want To Play Wth Friends" doesnt validate the fact that YOU use cheats ONLINE, which of cause is completely wrong especially for those of us who go online to have fun and not to be bombarded by cheaters spoiling it for others.

That said, if the fact Wiiflow doesnt allow you online whilst ocarina is active

"""USE A DIFFERENT LOADER IF YOU DONT LIKE IT"""

+100000
But cheaters will always win...
Please don't release the source code cause they expect some fast hack to add this cheat function

Strange, 1.1 reads from my SD card fine.

Have you tried this...

'WiiFlow will save all settings and files into the directory SD:\wiiflow\.
Exception: If you connect a harddisk with a FAT- and a WBFS-Partition, WiiFlow
will save its files to the FAT-Partition. To avoid this, you should open the
file SD:\wiiflow\wiiflow.ini and add the entry "data_on_usb=no" in the category
[GENERAL]. WiiFlow will ignore FAT-Partitions then. If wiiflow.ini isn't there,
copy the one that has been created on the HDD'

Of course I have, since it WORKED in 1.0 and 1.0d, however I have found the problem, now lets see if the coders do the same ;P

I can verify this glitch is new with 1.1 (no problems with 1.0, 1B, or 1C). Here's my original post #601.

I was trying to load covers from my sd, even though my drive has a FAT32 partition. No matter what, it would always dump a wiiflow folder onto the root of my hard drive, even though I put the command data_on_usb=no in the wiiflow.ini on the sd card. In versions 1.0-1C, having this on the sd card would cause wiiflow to skip the FAT32 partition, and wouldn't dump the wiiflow folder onto my hard drive. Then, if you try editing the wiiflow.ini on the hdd to read data_on_usb=no, it still won't read from the sd.

The only way I got it to load covers from my sd, was by using my other hard drive that is fully partitioned to WBFS (no FAT32 partition), creating the wiiflow.ini in wordpad with data_on_usb=no under [GENERAL], and launching WiiFlow. Once my sd was fully recognized, it has no problems looking for the sd first, and the wiiflow folder is not created on the root of my FAT32 partition. Strange indeed, but now it works.

I'm having a problem with Smash Bros Brawl. Specifically, I start a new game in the adventure mode. I fight the first fighte (Kirby vs. Mario) and win. Then, as it's about to cut to the video, I just get a black screen. The Wii is still on, but the remotes are non-responsive. If I press the power button on the Wii, nothing happens. I have to hold it in to turn it off completely, then back on.

I recently softmodded using xzxero's guide to 4.1. I have preloader (v.29) booting straight into Wiiflow.
I'm using 249 as the default IOS
I've tried the following combos of game-only settings in WiiFlow:[*]IOS222; Error 002 on; Ios reload block on[*]IOS222; Error 002 off; IOS reload block on[*]IOS222; Error 002 off; IOS reload block off[*]IOS249; Error 002 on; IOS reload on/off (both)
All have the same result...anyone know what might be wrong?

Hi, is there a dir_box_covers or dir_flat_covers option in your wiiflow.ini pointing to USB:?
I takes a look in the source for data_on_usb handling and I can't find glitches.

Have you tried a different loader (USB Loader CFG)?
Which IOS 222 version are you using? If v4 (published with uloader 3.0C) then try v3 (published with uLoader 2.8D) and install it with 36 merged 37.

All directory paths were pointing to sd, but if I have my hdd with FAT32 partition when doing a fresh install of WiiFlow 1.1, the sd card won't be recognized no matter what changes I make to the wiiflow.ini. I'm guessing this isn't something that can be spotted in the code, and might be a quirk with my hardware. 1.1 is the first revision that I've encountered this. WiiFlow 1.0-1C worked fine, so something is different with the revision, since my hardware devices and softmodding hasn't changed in quite a while.

This will only annoy a very small percentage of users, since most people who have a FAT32 partition would rather store the covers there, not on the sd. I have a 16gb sdhc card however, and I like to keep all my files on it, so I don't have to constantly transport my hdd between the PC and the Wii. Also note that not every user is experiencing this, so once again I'm in a small percentage.

I still would've liked to seen an option incorporated into WiiFlow, where you can simply toggle between SD and USB for the file paths. All the emulators, and some loaders have this option, and it seems to work best.

In wiiflow make a new folder and name it boxcovers, size I think should be 1024X680 or lower and I think you will need to name your covers correctly for wiiflow to recognise them eg RMCP01 for mario kart.
You may also need a folder named cache, not sure.

and were can i download this covers? i allready have some 3D cover but they dont fit..

http://wiitdb.com/ It's where wiiflow gets them!

but when i download the 3D Cover PAL Pack or 3D Cover NTSC Pack they dont display correctly...

The "glitch/bug" IS...

1.1 types [ GENERAL] and [GENERAL] into wiiflow.ini

LOL, I just started Wiiflow without the HD plugged in and just discovered the new "please connect USB" screen, now with the picture of the rear side of the Wii (useful for Noobs that don't know where port0 is).
Hibern never ceases to amaze me.

pop the sd card out ....anytime before you win the round and play without the sd card in if it still freezes quickly hit the a button to load next match befor the coins all drop.

i just pop the sd out a little so its in the slot but not connected. then the freeze wont happen till i reinsert the sd

Yes, i found it too. Works with [ GENERAL]. WTF! Why this?!?

I'll fix it in my source.
In "my" version, I've implemented the handling for passing IOS arguments (ios=222-mload, ios=223-mload, ios=249) by a forwarder to the loader and fix power off/on the HDD if IOS 249 is used on startup (sleep after IOS reloading 249 will power down/on some HDD).

I've sent a request to lustar to get write access to google code, but i got no answer. If he let me join the project, I will commit my source and try to do more fixes and features.
