Hacking WiiFlow Lite

my first thought - when you updated to wiiflow lite did you do a reload cache?
i'll look into this. maybe something is broke?

Yes I reloaded cache and actually cleared out the entire directory loading in fresh copies / versions of everything. I really tried on my end to exhaust all options before asking newb questions on the forum. If you have any of the old wfl_r1134_as_wiiflow.rar to wfl_r1150_as_wiiflow.zip builds I'd be more than happy to try them.

Is wiiflow lite won't work on sneek emunand?
On normal sysnand works fine.

so i checked and yes wiiflow 5 and devolution is broke. strangely for me my tv loses signal with the wii and says no signal. plus the wii seems to freeze. I had to put the loader bin back in my wiiflow folder.
I will keep checking to see what i screwed up. devo works with usbloader gx for me just not wiiflow 5.

sneek emunand or neek2o emunand? sneek nands are on the root of the sd card. wiiflow doesn't work with those. only emunands in a subfolder of a folder named nands.

There are sneek and nands folders on my root of HDD. Inside nands, there is pl_us and inside it there many folders such as import, shared1, shared2, sneekcache, sys, tickets, title, tmp and nandinfo.txt

ok that's a normal neek2o emu nand. and yes wiiflow 5 (lite) works just fine with them. make sure you have your emunand setup in main settings>emunand settings.

But I cannot even load wiiflow lite with crashing with dsi exception error. I can see the wiiflow splash screen and then it crashed shortly after.
Strange that old wiiflow by fix84 works fine.
I suspect that whatever iOS wiiflow lite trying to load is corrupted.
What iOS does Wiiflow lite uses?

try setting force cios on or off.
then run wiiflow lite and see if it still crashes.

and wiiflow lite uses cios 249 or ios 58

Thank you so much for confirming. Not to be all "while you are in there" but I noticed too that v5.4.0+ also has a very hard time downloading game covers and usually freezes for me. v5.2.0 is like butter though and works every time.

Wiiflow still dsi exception error.
I then tried to open wiiflow start configuration, I got this message:

Installed Open Homebrew Channel v1.1.4-1 on a fresh emunand built with ModMii on a real Wii, got error below after launch, while OHBC trying to load files (can see HBC menu with the circle for about 2 secs).

Most likely because you have hbc 1.1.4. You should have 1.1.2 and make sure it uses ios 58.

Hold up. Why you want to install hbc on a emunand? Are you trying to run wiiflow on your emunand? If so thats why it dont work.

Yes, I want to boot to neek2o emunand, and then load wiiflow lite.
It works with old wiiflow by fix84
