Hi everybody! :D

So I recently got an adapter to hook up my Wii to my HDTV with an HDMI cable but for some reason WiiFlow still has black bars on the left and right side of the screen. This doesn't happen with the System Menu or Homebrew Channel so it's weird to me that WiiFlow would do that. Is there any way to set up WiiFlow so it fills up the entire screen while maintaining the 16:9 aspect ratio? Would love to see my games library displayed in all its glory! :yaywii:

Hello,

Is Wiiflow up to date ??

Did you test with the RCA cable (original cable) wii ??

Hi jeanotte,

I'm using WiiFlow 4.2.3 MasterMod-r1054 and yes I had the same problem with my original cable. That's actually why I bought the adapter because I thought this would fix the issue.

I don't remember clearly if this was a feature in Wiiflow before WiiFlow Lite; but it is possible to manually adjust the Height and Width of the output resolution in Page 6 of the Settings.

I have a similar issue of seeing small black bars on the sides with WiiFlow, if I use an external upscaler. Letting the TV upscale the picture directly from the Wii somehow looks just fine though.

Try searching through WiiFlow's settings for output adjustment settings.
