@Fix94 do we need to have the latest plugins + wiiflow on USB1 too for the Emu-Mode to work correctly?
To work correctly, yep. Because otherwise the plugins cant find the settings and cant find the wiifow boot.dol to return to.

well thats my issue. too lazy to unplug hdd and plug in pc to put files on ehh oh well. i don't put apps on usb, although i could probably squeeze another GC game on there by saving the space.

No need to unplug, It's called "WiiExplorer" (press + to copy/paste from SD to USB)
made for lazy guys like u & me ;)

can i please ask again for a preloader forwarder WITH loading screen?

the one on the old wiki has none, and the ones that do, are old code...

thx in advance ^^

ALSO...

perhaps a full package with everything needed, like a start pack? with covers for the emu's etc?

I recently just setup homebrew on my wii, and I am trying to get wiiflow running. When I go into homebrew and click to start wiiflow, the loading screen displays and the white dots flash back and forth but then they just freeze and stop loading. Any idea on what I can do to fix this issue? I have tried multiple versions of wiiflow and i have not been able to fix it that way.

For a little background, I was following the steps on completesoftmodguide and I have:

- system menu 4.3u installed
- installed hackmii
- installed homebrew
- installed miboot as ios
- installed miboot and miboot2
- installed ios236

I have a 1tb drive hooked up, and I have tried loading with the drive connected and disconnected, same results either way. Am I missing something else I need to install?
It looks like you are missing an installed cIOS on IOS slot 249

About to put a lot of time into sets like these.. provided they would be implemented at this size.. It'll be like real full boxart, just minus the "real" sidebars to maintain the whole "Wiiflow Feel". These are based on a set i got from seam, and was put together initially by nicklessguy. (You may have seen them featured in the "WiiTurbinado" youtube vid) The sets weren't very complete (mostly accounted for VC titles) and a lot of the art needs fixing, so I'm going to start pretty much from scratch. (Although I will keep quite a few in there from nicklessguy's set, a lot of them are very good.)

Sooo... FEEDBACK PLEASE. I plan on getting a little crew together, as this will take some time. I may try to put together a couple of "quick fix" sets while these are bieng put together, i'll see what i can do. But of course, this all depends on Fix94 & Crew and all of you. What do ya think?

Seeing that coverflow allows for dvd cover dimensions, it should be able to also detect other dimensions to allow for full covers, no? Going with the same height (being 680px), a full box will have a bit extra width that wiiflow can detect and apply correctly should there be another box dimension added (though I do not have programming experience on Wii apps so I might be pooping bad milk here.)

But taking this as an example:

Using this standard, each NES/SNES/GEN box would be 497 pixels on the front and back, and 99 pixels on the spine. Using uniform spines takes away from the authenticty of the classic box arts IMO by removing the spines, and not to mention that sites like www.thecoverproject.net offers cleaned up sources and should be encouraged over grainy improper scans from gamefaqs\mobygames.

@[member='drew_351'] you need to install d2x cios. You can find a link on wiiflowiki.com
I guess it all depends on exactly WHAT you installed with with hackmii but they're right, AT LEAST some cIOS in249 if not all the WAD pack.

WiiFloWiki.com no longer has the WAD pack, unfortunately. It was removed from MediaFire for the same reason we can't post links to it here.
I think we're not even allowed to send them as a PM or hide them in our signature or anything.

Guys, I know why it didnt return to wiiflow with r249, r250 fixes that :P
Just compiled and tested r250 and I am amazed. This is awesome!!!! I have a couple thousand old vba/snes etc games and they came up with no problem. Tested just a handful but they worked. Simply amazing :)

I see from various posts that the cover images need to go in wiiflow/covers but can you or someone else direct me to a place to download the images? The download covers option on the emulator screen isn't working.

If it is possible to set up like this, that would be perfect! I don't know exactly what it would involve to have a seperate size template for each emulator box (GB/GB/GBA would have to be different dimensions too if possible, even though the others come out to the same size) but it wouldn't get much better than that! Is this a possibility @Fix94 ? I would then have to totally switch up my current project XD. I'm sure one of us would be more than happy to account for the sizes in pixels like Corey did above for the rest of the boxes. Ahhhhhh, good times. But seriously, for those of us trying to put cover sets together for the masses, some clarity on the direction we're going to go here would be nice :P I'm debating whether to continue this set i'm working on now til I hear back.

Edit: Got a little team together... D/Ling all the files from thecoverproject.net, going to convert them all to a height of 680 pixels, and put them together in a "bulk d/l" cuz d/l those covers one at a time SUCKS!! (gonna worry bout vbagx resize til this gets figured out.) There's gotta be a way to do get this implemented, would be the shiat!

Also... might as well ask.. has anybody actually downloaded EVERY image individually from thecoverproject.net, at least for one emu? You may be able to save the wii world a shitton of time! :P If not, no worries, shoes got that shiz!

Way off topic, but I just had a thought. WiiFlow-MC. Put the wiiflow front end on wiiMC, get the data from themoviedb.org, find a good source of DVD jackets, and presto. You have yourself a great media centre.

you can already find dvd covers over on spiffy. why stop there just make wiiflow be able to load movies alreay saved on a harddrive like the games. that would be cool.

Since we're starting to derail from the main purpose of WiiFlow, lets also add the ability to have cooking recipes in a nice coverflow style too. Artwork can be had at food network.
EDIT: A photo viewer would be sweet too.

ha ha go to home brewbrowser.. you'll see the app already there. though not as pretty as a cover flow.

FINALLY got wii64 to boot wiiflow :P
http://www.mediafire.com/?auismsii0z8euj3
Wii64 now uses parts my old v7 forwarder to boot the included WiiFlowLoader.dol from the plugins dir, the wiiflow loader then boots wiiflow. That means you can have wiiflow where you want now, the wiiflow booter will find the correct boot.dol. You can enable the new plugin ini option "ReturnLoader" in all plugins for this possibility to have wiiflow everywhere again :)
