Speaking of covers, some of the ones WiiFlow has downloaded are either very low resolution or only has the front, and I put my own scans and fixes on the sd card. How do I get Wiiflow to recognize my own covers rather than just the ones it downloaded?

Miigotu is back and currently there is some big drama, as you may noticed r418 is removed from wiiflow google code etc, so I just upload good versions to download for everyone :)
Thanks for the explanation, now I understand and really It isn't a problem.
I hope everything comes to a good agreement and well... I'll take the mod :), thanks Fix.

Here a few screenshots of the current theme im working on, pictures are the best thanks to WiiFlows build in capture. This is still a WiP and there are still elements that need tweaking. Some may recognise the style and look of it but some might not.

Any how here is what im calling it for now, "WFS" aka "WiiFlow Sandwich" as a basis but need a good name for it.
Maybe "Android" maybe moe fitting.

That's a good piece of work.
Can I add it to SMA!
EDIT:
BTW
If you have forwarder or priiloader-dol and if you don't object, I can add it to SMA (Update Themes.ini / Homebrew.ini and you will see it (Theme/Homebrew Tabs))

If a full cover is missing you can make it using this template and your 2d cover:
Use any photoeditor to paste the 2d cover here - rename the output file same as 2d cover file (make sure it's .png)

You might add the title in the center too. When you're done just copy your files to sd:\wiiflow\boxcovers - you might delete the old cache files to recreate the new ones if (Press B on CFG Button) doesn't work.
Good luck

Its still a WiP but will be available soon, will be doing a forwarder channel to match when ive got the time.

for fox888 and anyone else that experiences lag when using the carbonik theme i posted. Open carbonik.ini in wordpad and find the section _COVERFLOW. Remove survol.wav from
sound_hover=

This improved things for me and carbonik was the only theme I added survol.wav to that part of _COVERFLOW

For Fix94 - I noticed that the Hover sound in all of wiiflow not just _coverflow isn't working or isn't working right. Could you take a look at it when you get time? Also there used to be a rumble on/off option but I don't see it anymore and my wiimote rumbles sometimes. It would be nice to be able to turn it off if I want :)

hover sound update - I now realize the hover sound works fine. there seems to be something about survol.wav that wiiflow doesn't like. it plays fine on pc via wmp. I did notice is was smaller in size and shorter in ms (milliseconds) than the other two waves supplied with the themes.

but if you could still look into disabling the rumble or re-adding the option to turn it on/off. thanks

find all instances of

Code:
max_fsaa=

In the themes .ini then lower it to 2 or 3 and that will inprove speed dramatically, the lower the number the faster it will be but there maybe some quality loss but not much.

Also add or append

Code:
[GENERAL]
max_fsaa=

in wiiflow.ini and this should only allow the maximum number you enter in the Adjust Coverflow settings

The option is not in wiiflow itself anymore I think? Go into system menu and select rumble on/off for wiimote, that's where it gets it from I guess

Thanks, your right - I just turned off the rumble feature via the wii and it no longer works in wiiflow. :)

I recently installed dios mios and now Wiiflow doesn't load up.
It worked perfectly before and I don't know what changed to cause it not to work.
Gamecube games load fine through postloader, but I cannot load normal games because my disc drive is broken.
Of course, Wiiflow worked great before and I just want it to work again.

Any ideas as to what I should do?

ok, just found out that the coverflow part of wiiflow doesn't like any of the three waves supplied with the themes. so go to _coverflow section of the ini file and remove the flip.wav, click.wav, and survol.wav names after the '=' and everything should work up to speed. I wonder if we would change those wave files to ogg if they would work better.

Using my carbonik ini with 15 modes
No sound_hover
Max_fsaa=3
still slow carbonik :(

check the fsaa setting via the Adjust Coverflow option, if the .ini settings are higher that will still be used, Max_fsaa=3 in the wiiflow.ini only stops you setting it higher than allowed via the Ajust Coverflow. So if set at 2 then Adjust Coverflow will only let you set it to 2 but if the setting in the themes .ini is higher then that is still used. There needs to be some sort of cross check so themes dont bypass this setting. Also sound effects also play a small factor, so remove the references to any .wav in the theme.ini as well, this will also stop random crashes with the borked sound engine to.

Every theme ive tried with my custom flows all work butter smooth and fast as hell, i even go out my way to try and crash by flicking through the games but it doesnt have any of it, the only crashes a get are with the slight random bugs still needing to be fixed, i.e sound engine

I see a lot of people talking about little modifications in the themes. It's making me wonder if I should wait and not download them before people finish tweaking them.
If I have to wait the 45 minutes between each download that WUPLOAD requires, I want it to be worth it. I'm just not sure if I trust fixing it myself.
(I assume I'm just removing references to a WAV file after
sound_hover=
on all of them, is that right?

or do I also have to fine where it says
max_fsaa=
and do something with it?)

In reference to the themes I posted all you have to do is remove any reference to a WAV file in the section _coverflow. no need to mess with max_fsaa=

I didn't realize you had to wait so long between downloads on wupload someone should have told me. I 've reposted the fixed versions to mediafire see below

you do know fsaa refers to Anti-Aliasing, the higher the value the more stress the wii is under, so lowering it helps alot but sacrifices cover quality

Ive just went through the themes .ini's you posted and all have a fsaa of 3 to 4 keeping in mind the max is 5(i think), try lowering it via Adjust Coverflow and youll clearly see a difference by going from 5 down to 1.
