Can't help but wonder what's going on with wiiflow these days. Even the dev channel has no commits since the 10th. And r411 is buggy to say the least.
i've had very satisfying results with r410....have you tried that? ...just don't try to apply any themes....

r411 (prior to the fix) gave me fits as well...i have the r411fixed, but have yet to actually try it since r410 has worked so well on my setup (see sig)

i believe r411fixed was re-uped to wiiflowiki a few days after the initial upload....EtheBoss could probably tell you more specifics on it though.

r411: 1,724,480 bytes - self-compiled on 8/11.
r411fixed: 1,724,160 bytes - DL link from IRC on 8/13.

Yeah, same thing if you compile r411, it's more than 1MB larger. Weird. Must be compressed.

Hmm, seems I've been using the "fixed" version all along. Switched to default theme and it isn't quite as buggy.

since the recent wiiflow code overhaul, the themes (in their current state) are not supported. i think it has something to do with where wiiflow pulls fonts from. from what i've gathered, the themes will be updated as soon as the credits page scrolling is corrected.

i prefer the carbonic theme myself, but i prefer the speed and stability of the newer d2x wiiflows even more...so i'll gladly trade the themes for the features for the time being!

nice theme spidy (consider me teased)! ...compatible/stable with r411 too i imagine? (r411 seen in the vid) ..how soon before the other themes are updated? ...are we still waiting on other wiiflow development?

hmm where is this r411fixed?

I dl'd r411 from wiiflowiki and it's buggy. Compiled it myself, still buggy. Guess, I'll give r410 a whirl.

wiiflow needs some fixes before the themes can be edited, as soon as that is done all themes will be modified, my theme works fine with 411

I am having a problem adding new games. If I have it download the titles and then any missing covers there is an enormous delay loading the menu. When I quit a game it takes minutes to get back to the menu. I have a lot of games (over 1000) but earlier versions of Wiiflow worked w/o this kind of delay.

I just deleted all my settings, covers, cache and will try downloading everything again and will post back results. Using r411 with the correct matching forwarder channel and the d2x v7 alpha CIOS's.

Please update to r412 from here. If you still have the problem we might have a new wiiflow bug.

So hmm, can anyone reproduce this one, or is my wii weird ??

Thank you very much for these new builds (410/411), but on my wii i see a regression to the flow.
Hard to explain but let's try: after launch I turn the carousel by keeping "down" pressed; it goes fast as usual. But if I press A on a cover so it comes to the front, then press B to go back, and _then_ press (and hold) "down" to turn the carousel again, it becomes "slow", it "skips" a lot. I erased the config files to start fresh but see the same thing...

Thanks for any input.

Edit: ugh well, just tried R412 and the "flow" on this one's always laggy. Doesn't correct the launch wii remote sync issue either. Back to 355 for now..

Edit2: but thanks for the new builds, please keep them coming!!

Thank you for the r412 version - it fixed the problem of it taking minutes to load the menu first time or coming back from a game back into WiiFlow.

I still see about a 20 second lag if I go into the settings menu and just go back. Going into game settings and exiting is very quick, just the main Wiiflow settings is slow entering and exiting.

Also, not sure if it is a WiiTDB problem but downloading covers is incredibly slow... tried all my missing ones and had to give up about 15 minutes in. Then tried to download just a single cover from the game settings menu and it took several minutes and then came back.

Edit... tried it again. I deleted all the settings files and it came up slow at first while I assume it rebuilt the database. Menu loading is very fast but if you go in and then try to exit the settings it take a very long time. Downloading the missing covers from the settings menu freezes up about half way through. I am going to try it with a different hard disk.

Edit-Edit: Looks like WiiTDB is down and that is causing the slowness on the cover downloads. :-)

If I can help in any way figure out what is causing the delay exiting the settings menu please let me know.

Thanks!

Yeah, sorry. That's why I said seems to get to rid of the page 4 lag, just tried it a second ago and the lag returned. Puzzling to say the least. Not as bad as it was before though.

Hey guys where does the VC cover directory need to go so the new versions can find them ,, i haven't seen this question asked yet , thanks for all the new updates and hard work
