To ppl complaining about newer revs, this is why NONE AFTER 117 are even betas. This means it is expected for it to not be completely bugless, in fact its EXPECTED to have bugs and therefore is not released yet. Dont complain unless you pay me or r-win for the right to complain about our work, thx.

I think it's great that people have gotten this to work, but I just spent LITERALLY an entire weekend (surfing many forums & trying many combinations of cIOS) trying to get this on my chip modded wii w/o success. It was working today but then crashed. :/

Hopefully someday, this will be as easy, simple and stable as USB Loader GX.

Just a warning so others don't waste their time, if you can't set it up as quick and easy as USB Loader GX, I wouldn't waste anymore time on it.
Say r-win, didnt you use to do some code for USB Loader GX?
Whats your take on this?
I did indeed code for GX. Actually, I'm still official member of the USB GX team, but we didn't do much in the past few months

GX has a nice gui, with a lot of callbacks, threads, etc. That made coding it hard, but making changes even harder. When touching one aspect, another one could crash. Therefore, I wouldn't exactly call USB GX stable. However, if you use it as it is meant to be (for listing, launching and installing games on WBFS partitions) it's pretty good.

On another note, and in a followup to the post of Mugotu above:

It is indeed true that we are working very hard on wiiflow. You can experience freezes, crashes, slow downs or whatever more. We know this, and we are working on it. If you don't want these "features", then stick to releases. Releases have been tested by MANY people, and are considered stable.

Everything you download from Google, or from the FTP listed in the IRC room, is considered unstable. Everything you use from there, is on your own risk. If it doesn't work, tell us in IRC (we might already know!) and go back to a released version.

I disagree on the payment though (you are, of course, allowed to pay us). I think you are allowed to complain, but do it the right way: on IRC. If you complain here, you might give a signal to new users that this application is unstable, while it really is not.

It is a pity that some "reminders with love" are also regarded as "complaints".

*sit's down...staring at screen...anxiously waiting Miigotu's response*

lol it's not "reminders with love" when you play the same type of game kids play to manipulate their parents (Mom(Miigotu) says no or wait, so you go spam Dad(R-win), until you get your way)

You must not assume that us coders are dumb, retarded, irresponsible, or idiots.. YOU ONLY NEED TO TELL US ONCE. With you(TeenTin) its everyday "is the playlog bug fixed...?".. We are working on other shit thats more important right now, and when WE FEEL LIKE IT we will revisit your issue. Until then STFU and quit asking about it. Obviously if it was fixed it would be on the commit log.

If you dont like dealing with bugs dont use the unreleased versions, point blank.

I can still remember many times you denied my friendly bug reports instantly without any checking, and then the bugs were confirmed existing finally.

I never assume that (coders are dumb, retarded, irresponsible, or idiots.. ), ... until ... he reveals that tacitly.

To all interested:

A new section has been added to the wiiflowiki for pc applications

PC Applications

Anyone interested in helping out with translations please visit the pages and download the english.ini and adjust.

You can pm me here with translated files. I appreciate any help on this I can get.

Okay, I'm new to WiiFlow. Why can't I see the Channels icon? In my wiiflow.ini it says hidechannelbutton = no. I'm on cIOSX r20b. Is that why?
This has to do with which base you use, i know 38 shows channels, 57 is not, i'm not exactly know about the rest.

Button should be avail...
point wiimote down.

Hopefully r-win and I can get some better device handling/mounting to ease these issues lately. I would really like to use the device mounting from wiixplorer but I dont see an easy way to implement it.

sometimes the best way to achieve your goal is start something over. i know you don't want to hear that but if it would make it better then might as well do it the way that you think will best suite the application in the long run. i have faith in you guys and am sure you'll come up with a great solution. good luck. appreciate all the hard work and efforts.

and have a great holiday weekend and try not to code so much.
