I still can't do updates without a Out of memory exception. I have tried launching wiiflow from priiloader, from system menu using forwarder channel, from homebrew channel using the actual dol file. How am i suppposed to do this. How can I check to make sure enough memory available. Maybe too many saved game files and not enough memory blocks left? No matter how I launch wiiflow i still get and Out Of Memory exception when trying to apply an update. It finds the updates and compares the version fine just won't allow me to actually update. Is no one else having this issue?

Mugotu,congrats for your hard work!!!
It seems that you are trully passionnate about Wiiflow!
I have one question. Are you planning to implement the alt.dol+ method required for games like Sam and Max in a future update?

I had closed the feature request about this on the tracker as it is not planned, but since im going through uloader source and making an attempt at ffs_fat (will be only in dev svn for awhile) I may try and work alt dol+/multidol *.wdm. in.

im on r92 and it says im on the latest version. when clearly there is a rev 95 out.

"that is because all release after r92 are considered beta and won't show" this is what i was told

I can't get Wiiflow 2.1 to find any other partitions other than the 1st wbfs partition on my HDD. I have a drive with 2 wbfs partitions with games and a third FAT32 partition with no games on it. When I press up+B and it just reloads wbfs1. I also tried to change it on page 7 of the options and it won't change from wbfs1. Any ideas? I'm using the CIOS 222 version of wiiflow 2.1 R92 if that matters, but I know uloader 5.1D sees and loads both WBFS partitions. Any ideas?

not every commit is a release or open beta. r95 is closed beta. If you want it (no bugs so far) come to irc or compile it yourself.

I see something that looks iffy to me about switching wbfs partitions when fat/ntfs is present on the drive. I will research it and see if what I found is indeed a bug.

EDIT: If you install 249 17 and run wiiflow 249 or install a hermes rev3 and run the wiiflow with that ios it should see both wbfs partitions i think, possibly you can test? This could be a workaround until its fixed up a bit.

Thanks mugotu, I'll test that and post the results here. I didn't try 249 anything (currently running rev19) and currently have 222 v5. I'll post the results here when i can test, but I still revert back to 222 v5 until the fix as I still use uloader quite a bit.

btw, great work to everyone on this update it looks really great and now with multi-partition support may take over as my primary loader!

So, I'm just logging in from LA right now (really quick), just to say hello

I walked on Venice Blvd last night, and it was great. Going to drive to Malibu and Santa Monica later today in our rented convertible

Anyway: Mugotu, good job. That's all I wanted to say

@mugotu: I tried to install CIOS 222 v3, but it gives me a bad hash on the download of IOS36 and exits (on the fly internet install)... I tried twice. I'm a little hesitant to try again as I have everything working okay now (except for wiiflow's multipartition selection) and I've had probs in the past getting some of the rockband stuff to work right for me. Sorry

- I'll wait for a fix though... and thanks again for letting me know it's probably not just my system.

To be specific about my drive if someone else wants to mimic it, it's a WD elements 1.5tb with the first active partition being WBFS (~750gb), then another WBFS(~742gb) and a final FAT32 (~8gb) partition. Again, Uloader 5.1 and USB Loader GX both recognize the partitions. I partitioned it with EASEUS Partition Magic. I'll also say that the HBC doesn't read the last FAT/NTFS partition for files (it did on another drive when I had it as partition 1 WBFS and partition 2 NTFS)... Don't know if that would be related in anyway, or if HBC just doesn't try to read more than 2 partitions.

w!!,

I am in the same boat as far as not being able to access different partitions. I put in this issue with google code as issue 225. I have been trying multiple hard drives on a 4.1U and 4.2U with different partition setups...all having just a standard 32GB FAT partition(1). So Far, 3 different hard drives!

I am all about WiiFlow since ver 1.0. It is the best eye candy. I was jumping on Config as an alternate, but with WiiFlow having capabilities accessing multiple partitions there is NO reason to use another loader IMHO. I am so stoked that it will catch up, and have the functionality of Uloader, minus WiiWare--> Thats would make it the end all, never have a reason to use another loader ever again.

Sigh...I digress. My friend is running 2.0 and he is having no problems switching partitions...although he has to go to page 7/7 to switch. I simply want to access a 510-512MB second partition for Emulator ISO forwarders to make a 1TB drive able to have 500 items on WBFS1 (899Gb) and a shortcut to next partition for EMU ISOs and/or apps...(that's all I want...LOL)

EDIT r95 does it. Won't read any partitions on Verbatum Drive...maybe look up HD tools for it...anyone know of anything? Only reads WBFS on Verbartum?

@fcreeves: Sounds like mugotu is looking into what the prob is... If you can follow his suggestion as a work around and see if it works, it may help him... I just couldn't get CIOS 222 v3 to install for me... hopefully it'll be fixed in the next revision
