I have it working now with the dol that you posted earlier. However it takes a really long time for the game to finally load. Also when trying to select a theme it does nothing but stays at default. It must take much more to get this pack working than simply copying the pack to USB. I still have no clue how to get sourceflow and plugins working. Is there a tutorial that would explain all of this as if I were 5 years old?

It really is a case of just copy pasting this pack onto your SD or USB as long as you put the roms in the correct folders it should work, fine. What is it exactly your having trouble with?
As for the time to load, it is a fairly large folder of info for the wii to scan through, and as from my experiance it is pretty normal, having said that the load times for 4.2.1 seemed faster than the 4.2 dol you got from this thread.

Where are games saved with the setup you've recommended in our conversation?

What I'm trying to achieve is ALL save games happen on the USB drive. If I launch a Wii game, I want all of its saves and d/l content to go to the USB drive. If I launch a WW/VC game, I want the saves to go to the USB drive.

I'd like any and all save data/download data to go to the USB drive.

I am having trouble with Auto Mios switch feature. I am loading from USB have the BC-NUS-v6.wad installed. GC loader is set to auto. I am not sure what else needs to be done. I have tried installing the DIOSMIOS_2.10 wad, the DMLr59mod[MIOS v10] wad, and RVL mios v10 wad, all to no avail. I have the Mios files in Wiiflow/mios. there are actually 5 wads in the folder as opposed to 4.

Any help with the proper setup would be great :) Swapping back and forth from DM to QF wads gets old :/

Normal GC games load fine, TF games either black screen before loading or power off the console.

HDD is Fat32/32 kbs cluster size

Hi, thanks again, I put the 4.2 Dol into my usb and went to change the startup setting and there appeared to be 2 tabs overlapping, I clicked it a couple times thinking the one behind might appear but it didn't, I exited wiiflow and just get a code dump, restart the wiiflow app and same thing happens. I replaced the settings in wiiflow with the one in the masterpiece set and still a code dump on start up.
Anymore ideas?

Looking through the wiiflow ini I see it says USB_ games=codedump
That must be the problem, what do I change it to? I tried USB1 and USB2 still a code dump saying dsi error reloading in 10 secs
Just an update and a final plea for help!!
I managed to get wiiflow to start after doing a clean install but I still can't load a wii game from it, still getting the progress bar.
Two questions really, first my games are on wbfs drive, is that causing the problem? Secondly in paths option what is the correct path?
Again any help is much appreciated!!

switch works when both GC and QF are on the same partition
versions like old rev59 can confuse wiiflow mios detector and hence make it fail to load
just move all games to same part and install one of the 5 wads before trying again

Fat32 or NTFS works best wbfs partition can cause issues
If the wii is softmodded in the right way, forcing cIOS 249/base 56 in startup options can help launching wii games
some ppl have issues with 4.2.1 rev1056 final, try 4.2 or revision earlier than 1055

All games are in USB/games. I'll try installing one of the QF wads and disabling nand as well. I don't recall if I installed the required wads to my emunand, altho reg GC games boot with nand set to full emulation. Also I am still on 4.2 Is there an advantage to updating to 4.3 and using the pre-made emunand?

EDIT: Got it working :) I wasn't installing one of the wads from the Wiiflow/mios folder. I was using the ones for Wad/GC folder. Thanks again man!

Probably going to go with a class 10 SD, experiencing a little lag from USB, not too much but noticeable and loading is a little slow. Sadly the wife won't let me have the one from her digital camera so I have to venture out lol. Thanks again for the help!

Thanks again Abz for taking the time to reply, it's appreciated!!
Well been at this all night, started from the very first release of wiiflow right up to the current .4.2.1 and they all fail in one way or another, 4.2+ gives me the progress bar anything below I just get a black screen when trying to load my games.
The one thing I did notice is in the startup settings it says USB port, I can only select USB port 0 or 1 but not port 2 which my device is in. Game partion setting is USB 2
When you say correctly modded do you mean as in following the steps in the first post of this thread?? Because I have, or is there more that I need to be doing?
Is there a way of formatting my device from WBFS to FAT32 without loosing the data? I know I looked ages ago and there wasn't.
I'm normally fairly good at this stuff and can sort it, but this has got me stumped!!
I could use USBLoaderGX but wiiflow is a million times better especially after all the work you and the guys have put into it.
I really want this to work............anymore suggestions? I'm at my wits end!!

there is not a port 2 port 0 is on the bottom if the wii is laying flat and port 1 is on top it will help if you post a syscheck if your talking about emulators some of them have to be in port 0 and the first partition which also has to be formatted fat32

Hi,
Thanks for all your suggestions so far.
I've managed to get wiflow 2.0 to work and play wii games. Can the masterpiece pack work with such an old version? I've not tried in case I have a major corruption but if you feel it's safe to try I will.
With regard to compatible HDD I have tried three separate ones which according to another forum they are all compatible, all three wont work on versions older than wiiflow 2.0
I have included a system check, if you get the time could you glance through it and let me know if all is as it should be?
As always thanks for your time.

Syscheck looks ok.
Most masterpiece features and all plugins wont work with v2

I really hate to be the new guy that is so lost, but here I go...

I had recently updated my softmod using ModMii and I got to thinking about my emulators and having one place to load them all. I stumbled upon your pack (ABZ) and downloaded it (last revision as far as I know, download date 1/19/2014) and attempted to install. Everything went wrong...

I copied the nands and SNEEK folder like it explained, as well as the shared2 and the cert.sys. Wasn't able to launch into Neek2o and instead my system froze at my disc drive blinking in a pattern (1,2,3).

Postloader also did not work. Said it could not find a config file and I feel like a install from scratch might be the answer but not sure how to uninstall.

I think part of my problem might be where I have certain things set up. I have an SD card installed which currently houses my BootMii (as boot2) files and homebrew browser. I also have a USB HDD attached that houses all of my Wii backup/ROM's (redundant as I have them on my network share as well).

My question is: which files should be copied to USB and which should be copied to the SD card?

Which order should I install things in? WiiFlow first? Emunand first?

My SysChk is posted below in case that helps. Just hoping I could get some assistance from the folks on this site. Thanks in advance.

you can try with all files on usb (Fat32 first active partition) and sd card removed

Thanks, I'm going to try that.

Also, probably a silly question, but I'm going through the Emunand now (the one included in your pack) in ShowMiiWads and it looks like all of the Back2Nand and WiiFlow Channel are already on the nand, but there are no patched IOS'.

Are these meant to be installed only on the real nand or are they supposed to be installed on both real and emunand?

One more question, looking at the size of the installed back2nand channel, it looks like it's the back2nand for setup on SD card? If that is the case, would I have to install one of the other back2real nand options if I'm setting up on USB? I'm basing this on the fact that it's the only included file with the NK2O title ID that's 1.48MB instead of 1.26MB.
