ok i got my self out of the semibrick and got the "fakesigning" back and running as if i never did the update. When i put wiifit in the wii it asked to do a system update. I did the update and from what i see it did not patch the iso's.

My question is there a patch or something i can put on the wii that blocks the update thing from comming up when i put in wii disks or do i need to rip it and remove the update then play it via the backup channel or get a mod chip???

starfall should remove the update issue for you providing your on 3.2 or lower am not sure of the update WiiFit has on the disc..

anyone??
well that wont help cause the update changes the menu to 3.3u
but like i said all wads install and the backup loader work so im assuming it was safe but may not be in the future

looks like your on the first version of 3.3...am running this now with no problems...

although at the mo i have no way of stopping updates apart from sayin NO lol

but i use WUM1.3 on all my backups to remove the update

alternatively why dont u downgrade your self to 3.2 and install starfall???

theres a thread and guide about it here

I dont know why ou want to play with wii fit.. It cost you.. Ride the bike, swimming (if you have a pool or beach nearby), jog, and something like that is price free! The wii fit is silly and not exercise and not part of healthy, you know.

I have wii fit too, someone in my family wanted it also, and I have not soft modded my wii yet.
I plan on soft modding and then letting my wiifit update the system.

I guess this won't be a problem?
