Misc WiiConnect24 on modded wii?

It says I need to accept the user agreement to use wiiconnect24. Is that safe to do? I heard it allows nintendo to install updates w/o your consent..

I download NUSD because someone said I could install the EULA agreement to my wii and bypass accepting the user agreement..

how can this be done and is it safe?

Nintendo always says they'll install updates without your consent, but that's just a cover-their-asses thing in case it actually happens some time. On all the systems, you need to have automatic updates on or specifically allow an update when it prompts.

if I've already got a working softmod is it safe to use modmii to update the softmod? I dunno how to check and see if anything is out of date

Oh I did it and it seems fine.. lol
