i want to access channels like weather forecast channel, news channel, nintendo channel,
but whenever i try to load it, it says i need to turn wiiconnect 24 on first.
i'm on 3.2u and i don't wanna update to 3.4.
so is it safe to turn it on?
i've been hearing a lot of contradicting stories on this.

some says it's safe to turn on because it will ask me to update my firmware and i can just say no.
but some people say it will ask me to update and if i'm away or something, it hangs for a while then update automatically to the latest firmware.
so which is correct?

Um...I'm not sure cause i always have it off but I think it should be safe they can only update your wii if you agree.

yeah but some told me if i am away or not present for a long time, wii will update automatically even if i don't give the permission to update.

is there any other way?
like ios51 for wiishop? are they any custom ios so i can access these channels without wiiconnect24?

on 3.2 lower? or old 3.3 even new 3.3?
simple...wiconnect24 safe to "always" be on, they cant update you, when you haven't agreed to the new tus which came for 3.4

anyway like me, keep wiiconnect24 always on, ive never had a problem! on 3.2

Just found out he's doing alright, doing a lot of complaining too, rightfully so. Who wouldn't complain after having a seizure and being hospitalized?
