Yesterday I read that finally, Donkey Kong 64 and it's awesome DK RAP could be heard in all it's glory using Wii64 1.2 Rice.
Curious about it, I downloaded both softwares.

And guess what? Yes! I blasted the DK RAP as early as 6am!

Finally, that awful camera glitch was gone.

So, I played a liiiiitle bit DK64, saved the game, turned off my Wii, and proceeded to sleep.

Woke up, excited to finally play DK64, and loading the game gives me a DSI Error screen. In fact... whenever I attempt to load ANY rom, using Wii64 1.2 Rice gives me the same result.
I can no longer load any roms at all!

Does anyone here knows how to fix that?

@Pupp3t_31 No. I'm using my good old Wii.

@GeeBeeYaY Nice thanks. I assumed it had something to do with the CFG file but never looked it up. Will try that version though. I got really dissapointed because I've been wanting to play DK64 since I was 5 or 6 years old.

I've just downloaded Wii64 Rice and It doesn't have a wii64 folder with subfolders to put roms or saves on it.
Do I have to make them? Or will they be created automatically?

Also... Can I put the roms on the same folder as Not64 and Wii64Rice would load them? Or they need independent folders?

They need to be stored in your SD card root, otherwise it won't work.

Well, but I see that Wii64 is now a bit outdated.
Have you tried using Not64 Second Edition? Its latest version is v20200609.

Greetings ;)
Something strange happened.
I use Not64 for other games.
And I use Wii64 for RARE's games like DK64, Perfect Dark, Golden Eye, Banjo, Conker's Bad Fur Day (Diddy Kong Racing doesn't work on Wii64) and I don't know if I downloaded a new version of Wii64, but like, many problems disappeared.

I have a nice library of N64 games between Not64, Wii64 and Virtual Console.

With Diddy Kong Racing, according to this compatibiliy list (https://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/Wii64_Compatibility_List), I saw that when the graphics is in "Rice" there are massive gfx gitches, but when the graphics is in "Glide" the game aparently works perfect in normal adventure mode, however on adventure two (mirrored tracks) is unplayable due to a huge graphical glitch and inverted controls.
So, worth trying using the huge update of Not64 Second Edition for see if this occurs.

Greetings
