I've had bad experiences with karaoke from all over the world, make sure you have good singers if you want to play this game.

Is this worth bothering with if you can't sing Japanese.

Also is their anyway to get access to the online catalogue and if so do the English languages songs have English (romaji) on screen to sing along with?

I think this is just a rerelease of the first Joysound with a better microphone.

I tried running the first through the USB Loader and it kept losing my subscription ticket as soon as I'd bought it. I'm not the only one either. If you really want to get it, I'd go for the WiiWare one. Hasn't glitched up once for me.

Oh, and the online catalogue for this comes from one of the biggest karaoke chains in Japan. So it goes without saying that the selection is *huge*, including tons of English songs. As long as you have a menu translation, you're set.

I actually bought this game earlier this year...

It's worth it. (very cheap comparing to karaoke irl, 2000 for 3 months..)

Please not. The micro phone does not work unless you run the retail game straight from the disc channel though. If any usbloader is used or playing a back-up, the game cannot find the usb microphone.
