Gaming wii with disc error

hi i have 2 wiis one modied and one giving to me. The error wii turns on and system menu loads but will not load disc if i mod this wii can it still run an usb loader

As far as I know, all wii's can be modded but only some can load backup discs because of the updated dvd drive. Take a look here if you're interested: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=171901

For USB Loaders, just look around for the one that speaks out for you o.O There's WiiFlow, Neogamma, etc. I use USB Loader GX and have never gotten a 002 error, black screen, etc. and I've had no problems with it. I have used it for 6 months with a 250 gb Verbatim hdd (note: You do not need a 50+gb hdd, 20 gb is more than enough) and no freezes or anything.
