Hacking Wii will not read retail discs anymore...

I need some help, guys.

I installed DIOS MIOS god knows how long ago, and in that process, I managed to make my disc reader stop working and I can no longer play retail Wii games or GC discs. I would really like to be able to do this again.

I tried the ModMii method, where I installed the MIOSv10 WAD, but that did not help my case. I cannot even load any of my games through USB loader GX's disc reader...

Wii drives just wear out over time, even when not being used. I only used mine to rip an occasional disc game to my HDD, and I've only done maybe 20 discs and it's like a 50/50 chance if it reads a disc now. But it's also 10 years old, it was a launch system. I really have no use for the optical drive in the age of USB loaders and Torrents for ISOs.
