Hacking Wii U update problem sysCheck

Hello there, sorry if i write thread in bad place.

I bought used Wii U (semi-brick hmm i dont know if that word is good). Console have problem with update, drops error 162-3004 or 3006 dont remember now. WiiU was made factory reset soo i dont know if someone did make HBC install and other stuff so maybe there is problem. Now i installed on Wii Mode HBC and done sysCheck raport, could someone look at it and tell if there is everyting allright or not

My Wii U got soft 4.0.0E, i would be glad if someone could help and really sorry for my bad english

Wow man, im surprised you can get into vWii at all it almost seems like someone tried to install darkcorp on it or something

IOS36 to IOS80 have been replaced, you would need the correct untouched vwii ios versions and replace them

I never had tp fix my vWii so i'm not sure where to find them, i'll try to have a look and maybe others can chip in

What you have to remember is that :

You are lucky you can boot in vWii at all

Don't try stuff without knowing 100% what you are doing (edit : i know you bought it broken already im just saying be careful if you want to fix it)

You have a chance to fix this wii u but you must do it correctly or you may never be able to update it again

Thanks for reply Gohomefaggot wow that sounds bad well i dont wanna make hacks just wanna be able to update console and maybe use loadiine because for now no games works for me... (black screen or error that there is no memory or something like that).

First is the hard part, you need to find someone who can dump the clean vWii IOS from their console, because every vIOS below 100 which have been modified with the trucha bug are problematic

There's a chance that maybe by installing only the correct vIOS 36 you would be able to update but i'm not sure, though it shouldn't do any more harm, do so at your own risk. You will need to find a member willing to PM the file to you.

Second, you need to find out if you are able to run MMM or something to install the correct vIOS

i can't dump vIOS from my wii u at the moment because it's at my girlfriend's house, maybe someone else can do a clean dump?

i've looked on google but it seems hard to find untouched vIOS, please don't try to find them, as if you end up installing IOS from original wii or something you might brick your vWii and be shit out of luck.

I think i can pray that someone will be that good and read this threat and PM me those vIOS but well iv got my wii u with that condition about 1 year soo im not in rush if no one have those files could i count on u ? like i said im not in hurry even few weeks + - wont be problem for me ofc ill try to find those files but hmm if i find them in "google" they will be safe? or how to check them first?

Wow wtf. IOS36-80 are not suppose to have that right? That looks pretty bad. I can't do a vWii dump because I don't have any of the games to have HB on my vWii but if I did I would surely send you a dump of it. Sorry. Like the other guy said you can try to find somebody.

I will see what i can do because i am not sure how to correctly dump vIOS without them ending up fakesigned (meaning they would not work)

In the meantime you can try to get MultiModManager (MMM) running, you will need it to install the files once you get them

don't mess around in the software too much if you don't know EXACTLY what you're doing, just run it to confirm it is working

MMM on link that u gave me its not working i mean to download file, but iv got installed YABDM, Xyzzy and Dump Mii NAND, all worked fine. about dumping vIOS i used this tutorial with YABDM https://gbatemp.net/threads/the-definitive-vwii-hacking-guide.425852/#11 and u can dump those vIOS without fakesign.

i think you might be in luck and only need the vIOS 36, if you give me a bit of time i will try to help you further.

I usually use MMM to install WADs, but if you have another wad installer its ok, just try to make sure its able to run under vIOS 236

Edit : if any other member has a clean vIOS 36 PAL on hand it would be nice

Edit 2 : it seems like replacing vIOS 36 with the trucha bugged one will make it look like all the vIOS after that are also trucha bugged, so i really think you only need the correct pal vIOS 36, but i'm having a hard time finding it and my console is NTSC ( i'm not sure it even matters but lets pretend it does )

i also noticed that the vIOS 245 to 248 are not needed but they don't matter for now

249, 250 and 251 are good don't touch them

No hopefully some kind soul will assist you.
But before you do ANYTHING you should backup everything. (While you still have access to stuff in case of mistakes)
Do not cut corners.
Do not delete vWii iOS or cios.
Do not delete SysMenu or HBC.
Do not delete vWii IOS80.(it is needed for SysMenu).

There are probably other good warnings but they do not come to mind.
