Hacking Wii U SSBB Save File question

Is there a way I can currently use a data.bin super smash save file and place it on the wii u and load it using a savegame manager of sorts?

Yes, you need to start the game one time first, so the wiiu crates a save file, then you can install a save from the internet using a savegame manager... just google it, cant tell you the exact name right now, Im not at home... google wii savegame manager
