You can use it on a 3DS, however for a Wii U I recommend buying an SD or SDHC card.

SanDisk (micro) SD Cards are ok.
Maybe an (from personal Experience) very reliable Alternative for Wii Consoles are TRANSCEND SD Cards.

As stated above, an sd is an sd. Make sure you buy brands like san disk or samsung. Best options from my personal experience.

Thank you very much and reason for asking are because it seems Wii U only support SDHC but not SDCX, I don't know difference between SDHC and SDCX.

I don't know difference between SDHC and SDCX.

SDHC - based on SDA 2.0 Spezification -> 4 GB up to 32 GB
SDXC - based on SDA 3.0 Spezification -> 64 GB up to 2 TB
(Can be used on Wii and Wii U.But maybe not all "Speed Classes / Brands" may work...)
SDUC - based on SDA 7.x Spezification -> 2 TB up to 128 TB

Sort of "bullshit". SDXC cards work fine. I used 400 and 512GB cards without any problems.

That's good too hear, I'm going to buy SDXC then.

As stated above, buy recommended brands like san disk or samsung. More or less pricy (depends on the storage size) but worth it.
