the 300 game limit has become slightly bothersome on the 3DS. But on the Wii U, I just can't see how I'll ever get up to 292 titles, and I have a lot of titles too. i mean maybe if I loaded up on virtual console titles I could get there, but overall I like homebrew emulators better than VC titles.

Ya know I bet you could get to 100 when you consider all the types of games that can take up a title: Wii U retail games, Wii U eshop games, digital Wii retail, DS VC, N64 VC, SNES VC, NES VC, GBA VC. You take the best games from each of those categories on the Wii U, I'm sure you could easily get to 100 great games that you HAVE to have played. Not all necessarily on the Wii U, but if you've never played the best of those old VC titles, the Wii U is a fantastic platform to own them on. In fact sounds kind of cool, a device with 100 of the best games playable on Nintendo systems over the years, that would be a plug and play Nintendo system worth owning.

There is like 250 VC games on the Eshop, not all of them are good, "your taste" or games you never played before, from a guess i will tell there is... 50-60 games that are good on the WiiU including good Eshop titles so there is like 300-320 games on the WiiU that are good and/or VC titles, cut like 20-30% of that (to cut the "not your taste/already played" games) it makes 220 games that you could possibly like or really want... and there is NO WAY you like them all or even want to play all of them, including the fact that without pirating, it would require a HUGE amount of money also...
Stop telling it's not enough, if you're "that" rich, just buy another WiiU... because with the average price on the Eshop, it would require more than 5000 euros to buy all theses games (45*60 + 9*250)...

This is more than enough, and people who ask for more are either rich enough to buy another WiiU or pirate every single game...

Ummm I wasn't making a claim that there were over 300 good games for the system. My argument is that with VC and all available other kinds of downloadable titles, I can easily see how there are at least 100 great games worth owning on a system. Cuz someone made the claim that their aren't even 100 great titles worth owning on the system and I didn't agree with that particular sentiment. I should go through and flesh out a list of 100 must have titles on the Wii U, really doubt its hard to do.

that we have the possibility to transfer Wii U games
That likely won't be happening for to reasons. First most people use legit disc so them not being able to use it one the cart only switch will get them mad because they don't have eshop games. Second the switch is one screen only and a decent amount of games used the gamepad for reasons other then off tv play.

Yes but mistaking "must have" and good games is easy, mario kart 8, Bayonetta 2 are must have where wonderfull 101 can be taken as a "really good game you should take" but not "must have", but my point, even without talking about how many good games there is on WiiU, if you can spend money on 250 WiiU titles like stated in my previous post, you can afford a lose WiiU on eBay to "store" more games, because if you pirate them, then you created your own problem, you shouldn't be able to own legally that much games, who would spend 4000-5000€ on just WiiU games ? And on a so short period since the system came out ? that's insane !

Any great game that hasn't been played by a consumer is worth playing, and if the consumer is flush with income, then for them, a must play game easily becomes a must own game. For such a person, it is very easy to find 100 games that they could fill their device with. For you, perhaps spending the required money to get that many games, isn't feasible and the amount of games for you that becomes must have games, shrinks significantly, and I understand that. Heck, I personally am not flush with cash, but if I were making good money, I'd get it.

I will say, that while I will never reach the 300 game limit, I don't think anyone should be able to tell another person how many games that they should be able to legally own. We all have different backgrounds with different upbringings, a rich and eccentric Nintendo fan easily could justify what it takes to fill up the Wii U.

By the way, in making my list of 100 games worth owning on the Wii U, 76 of them are Virtual console games, if we say that the price of these VC titles averages to about $8 each across the various platforms, that's a total of $608, now with 24 more titles be they retail Wii U titles, downloadable Wii titles, and/or smaller eshop only titles, there is no way you're going to be close to hitting 4000-5000 dollars (or euros). I also finished my list, but I kept going after 100 and was able to list 200 games officially playable on the Wii U (without the vWii) worth playing. Still, there is no way with officially released titles that I'd have been able to expand the list another 100 games. However, as soon as you introduce hacking and the ability to inject all our favorite old games into VC titles especially for the N64 and DS where working emulators on the system run poorly to alright, then it isn't hard to reach that 300 spot. But that of course defeats the purpose that I was going for. Still I was only out to prove that there are 100 games on the Wii U worth owning especially if you've never played the classics in the VC before, and I was definitely able to reach that with a list of games that I'd love to have all of on my Wii U.

Thank you for not being judgmental thank you

Well I mean I have to be somewhat judgmental. The reality is, there is no realistic way with what the Wii U offers to hit 300 titles absolutely worth owning. I can get to 200 that I think are worth owning for sure, and I could argue in maybe another 20 or so games across the available platforms on the Wii U, still until I start injecting or just filling up the Wii U library for the sake of filling up the Wii U library, there aren't 300 official titles on the system that I would argue are worth owning. Now if you have no issue with injecting and being labeled a pirate or whatever, then by all means fill up the 300 titles. But at the same time you should be able to recognize that realistically and without hacking there is no reason to fill up 300 titles on the Wii U with all the titles the Wii U and its VCs has to offer.
