well this is nintenfucked no isnt it the really messsed this one up

Yeah they really messed this aspect of the Wii U up more than anything else. Its so bad that one whole person on the internet complained about it once. Truly this must be one of Nintendo's biggest faults ever, don't know how they avoided any backlash on this issue for so long, seems like something that people should have been upset with for years!

this is a forum not a place to piss people off im DAMN sure i am the olny on wondering about this
Welcome to GBAtemp.net. The place were everyone pisses off each other. That is all this forum is. Specifically in the Wii U and 3DS sections

And DS. And sure you can use emulators. But I was talking about a legit reason to have 100 titles on the Wii U, for a family that doesn't hack and uses the system as intended.
I forgot DS VC was out. I also just remembered the only DS VC I own doesn't work with haxchi.

Most of the digital games are crappy shovelware and everything expect ds and n64 can be done with retroarch and better
I'm not making any statements related to that, merely that the number of retail games really has nothing to do with this as this involves installed games rather than games on disc.

I think the point the person was making was their are only 141 games that can be installed with legit tickets without sig patches.
yea i not even close to 292 but im just trying to help my possible fuature self out and the community out and seeing what info i can get
If your not even close then why complain? Your not helping the community out as your just complain and demanding devs to fix something you won't even use.

he obvisoluy you dont get it we help each other out here thats the whole reason for GBATemp.com is to ask questions and get answers not just say oh this this and that like you are

No, that's not it. Retail games is referring to games on a physical disc. Here's a list of games available exclusively on the eshop, which is over 250 titles: http://nintendo.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_Wii_U_eShop_games_(North_America)

That list supposedly should not be including any games that are available at retail, though I've seen a few that are retail, but I think those are games that got retail releases later on.
Anyways, the point is that the number of retail games really has nothing to do with this topic.

It's alright. But really if you hit the limit I'm pretty sure you could disconnect your HDD and connect another and install another 300 games... Can anyone confirm? Is there even 600 games in the whole Wii U library?

Basically. That, and I can't find more than 20 games actually worth playing... but that's just an opinion by a bloke on the internet. Do recommend some games if you disagree with this opinion.
If you're worried about the limit, just get a couple of external hard drives. Maybe if the Wii U can see multiple partitions, just have separate partitions to store games.

im sure you could but why would nintendo include usb devices in data management just ti transfer file thats a load of bullshit

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

GBAtemp was created as a rom site. Over the years it evolved into a hacking site. This was a great site for devs to release programs and hack until dirty uneducated pirates came in demanding everything.

[ well if you think you knwo best then why dont you go make your own rom sight you bozo

No it isn't. People buy small drives then upgrade over time.

Also your posts are turning into cancer.

you are cancer i was simply just looking for info and instead i got you telling me im wrong and that we are all lazy pirates can you say anything good
Your spelling and grammar is giving me cancer.
It is true. Pirates and lazies ruined this site.
If you really need 292+ titles then use 2 usb drives and plug in the one you want to use.

Well, I like the SNES and DS VC a lot. Don't know about GBA, I think it's ok too.

NES VC is garbage and some N64. N64 VCs has a lot of input lag even on CRT.
I wish you could trade bought VC games (with a limit of a day or so). But even that you can't lol.
