i did it and the program is works but when i tried to connect the controller it's saying: " unable to detect remote device" and it is doesn't work with wii remote too.
did i do something wrong?

@willtheoct

I've seen this solution before, but the problem I'm running into is that when I get as far as 'Windows' I don't have the DeviceInstall path, so I can't get any further. Should I try adding the registry keys for this? If so, would I change any 'values' within 'Restrictions!DenyUnspecified' or would I just create the registry 'keys' to that path to get it to work?
I would create the keys if they don't exist.
also, not sure why the following would or could happen in your case, but still, check if they're under
HKLM\Software\Wow6432node\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\DeviceInstall\Restrictions!DenyUnspecified

if they don't exist, then yes, create the keys, DenyUnspecified is a DWORD value inside the restrictions "folder". It should be set to 1 or 0 depending on your needs.

Has any advancement been made on analogue support?

Pretty much the only thing keeping my from replacing my current gamepad.
Yeah, if you're not going to give us an eta at least update us every once in a blue moon.
Going smoothly? Just finished something? Backed up?

Is there a particular reason why this is not open source?

If it were open source, then maybe someone with good directinput/xinput knowledge could take a look at it.

this guy doesn't give a shit and doesn't reply to PMs asking about it either. i found this however and it seems to support analog as well as everything else the pro controller offers. no idea when it's going to be released though

Yeah not going to buy another bluetooth dongle when I already have one just so I can connect this when there's already this one that works well for at least NES and SNES emulators. Wonder if just having the drivers would work whenever it gets released... Someone'll have to upload them.
Well he is doing this for free so he doen't really have to. That being said, I think it'd be only fair to release the source, if he doesn't have the time (or skills?) to work on this.
God I hate this logic, it's his own work anything he DOES with it is "fair". Actually, rather than "fair" releasing the code would be "nice" of him but never releasing it would be the actual "fair" choice.
If you or someone else has the skills to make something better than you can put in your own time all the while never releasing that code either and that will still be fair. In the mean time it's HIS time that HE used to make this so whatever he does with it is fair.
It's his work, and by "his" I mean "theirs" since there are two people working on it so either one can do whatever they want.

I like how in the same message you completely go against your own statement, by anouncing that you want to steal drivers.
You're a funny guy.

Well, I'm off to curing cancer, and not telling anyone about it.

Is the fact that you have no logic or reasoning supposed to be surprising..?
But thanks for clarifying that Captain Obvious.

Be careful! Reach any further to find a nonexistent connection and your arms might be torn off.
A straw man and ad hominem expertly packed into one..! I should be bowing at your prowess in driveling fallacies.

 I'm stricken, if I ever need someone to make an argument that's completely fallacious I should call no one other than you.
Well, maybe I'm giving you a bit too much credit there.

Go ahead, that's a matter of personal morals. If others can't figure out how to cure cancer whose fault is it but their own, you have no debt to them but rather they'd be indebted to you if you were to release the cure.
But until then lets all act like entitled brats saying it's ONLY fair IF you release it without copyright (or whatever is used for those sort of things) and that we have no reason to be grateful and it's completely unfair otherwise, shall we?
Hey, you got something right. Did the sky turn green? I'll have to go check the grass next...

Interesting, I'll be keeping an eye on this. Thanks!

Also, no need to argue, peeps. =P

Actually I cant reinstall because I dont have my old driver to get the part number from because I have to edit the configuration file based on the old one so this has just been stupid

I have cracked my version. No more trials.
Just search for crack for your Toshiba Bluetooth Stack version,
make backup of the original files in case it doesnt work.
