I'm sure I'm not the only one who has looked at that new Pro Controller and wanted to use it on my Wii games.

So curiously I tried to sync the Pro Controller to the Original Wii, obviously no luck, no lights nothing.

However, I turned off the Wii and pushed the Power Button on the Pro and the Wii turned on, nothing happened after that but it tells me that on some level the Wii recognises the Pro Controller.

Is there anyway for us to have the Pro Controller be recognised as a Classic Controller on the Wii?

I don't think you'll be able to use the Pro Controller with Wii games, as for the Wii turning on with the Pro Controller IDK, but its like you're trying to play New Super Mario Bros. Wii with a Classic Controller, it just doesn't work, everything Wii U related is down when you are in Wii Mode.

Brooks makes an adapter for PS4 and Xbox One controllers to work as a classic controller. Maybe you could get the PS4 version to work with a Wii U Pro. I quite like using my Xbox One Elite controller as a classic controller on my Wii with the adapter.
