Just got a Wii U. Got nintendont up and running for the vWii. Attempted to use my gc adapter. I have both a wired gc controller and an official wavebird controller. Can't get the wavebird controller to work no matter what. The receiver lights up. The controller works for smash. It's only for nintendont that it won't work

couldn't say as I've gotten the wavebird to work with nintendont, even played mega man anniversary collection with it. however, it's one of those wiimote adapters, where you plug the wavebird receiver into the wiimote.

That's the adapter from mayflash. The white ones. Feels a bit flimsy, but works perfectly. Supposedly don't support the wavebird things, but some people just plugged them in and started playing.
