Hacking wii u loadiine games with two players

I have a question about wii u loadiine games, does it support two players ? ,
because when I tried Lego marvel avengers game I couldn't play as a second player using wii remote controller or wii u pro controller although in the game it says (press pulse to start) but also didn't work the only button that works in wii remote is the home button only,

any help will be appreciated.

Any single and local multiplayer content is supposed to work perfectly. It may be a problem with the actual game.
